The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)
Don't forget your towel!
Hitchhikers guide galaxy is probably by far the best point of view on life there is. And the movie pretty wicked as well. The Special Effects in this movie are absolutely top notch. the whale an pot plant bit was absolute genius (poor whale, he only wanted the ground to friends with him). And of course lets not forget our favourite manically depressed robot (hated by the super happy computer). And i so need to try of of those drinks (I'm pretty sure iv had some liquorice vodka thats done the same thing). But all this said it is a truly wicked and philosophically correct movie and all should see it. Its packed with everything u could ever want to see... including 4 uses of ur house hold towel.
The Mummy Returns (2001)
"It's hard being a dad"
This movie has it all. Action. Comedy. Romance. Rachel Weiz (check out her flash back fight sequence!) and the Pigmys who teach us a very valuable lesson - don't run with explosives. And lets also not forget the lesson we learn from Rick (Brendan Fraiser) that parenting can be absolute hell. And of Course we can't forget the battle between the medjai and the Dog warriors which totally kicked ass. You also get to see a more helpless and loving side of Imhotep (it's always good to see villains at their weak point). If u haven't seen this movie u don't know what your missing!. It's an action packed ride full of laughs (plus you get to see the Rock's first time at acting)
Doctor Who: The Five Doctors (1983)
Cyber Vomit!
This is Probably the best Dr.who I've seen ever! Peter moffatt does an excellent job at directing this. The Special effects an action sequences are top notch. This is probably the only Dr.who that doesn't have effect errors. And I was so pleased to see sarah and the brigadier! those 2 really do add a lil spice to the Dr.whos (But why on Earth is the Brig wearing fur? He didn't seem like much of a fur wearing type 2 me.(Maybe it was to attract the yeti in the cave for mating)). And of course there's the Cybermen, which are of course my al time fav aliens frm who. The Cyber Massacre sequence has got to be the best bit of the whole film. Although how the robot can fit all those arrows in itself is beyond me (works well none the less). This Dr. who pretty much has it all Comedy, Action and there were even bits that gave me the willies (i.e. the old looking companion phantoms). And lets not forget the Cyber Vomit!
