Warning: Spoilers
Whilst not the greatest film of the franchise, far from the worst. Michael shows that even on a minimal budget a film can be made with fairly decent quality. 😉With quiet, reserved precision the plot is carried out with genius. Though the movie does drag a bit at times, the intermittent tension building flatulence breaks the silence reminding you of the tagline from the promotional poster. (For God's sake open a window.) The included trivia though enlightening, fell short of providing a real depth and maybe it will be expounded upon in the sequel. I will give extra points for the ambience and cute animal pictures. Though after watching on this blustery cold day bored and nothing better to do, was I fulfilled in the viewing of this film? That is up to ones interpretation of time spent, and I have not the patience and thus the desire to ponder at the moment. My only complaint is the book wasn't completely read by the finish of the film. Possibly saved for the sequel? Amityville Gas Chamber 2 :The Terrible Scent of Death. In conclusion you must ask yourself are you prepared to witness such sheer terror and the anticipation of flatulent horror. Only you can decide that fate.
