Eurgh. Lizzie is painfully whiny and annoying.
27 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I was just getting into Legacies having avoided it a while as it seemed more aimed at teens than adults that said the last two or three episodes have been brilliant even when a little silly. Unfortunately the pouting whiny twins are now back from Europe and I don't know if I can continue watching.

I really cannot abide the tantrum throwing toddler trapped in an adults body it is painful to watch and makes my ears bleed.

All Lizzie does is moan about nothing, constantly for absolutely no reason at all. It is impossible to figure out how Caroline could have raised such a spoiled little brat as she seemed such a grounded character and Alaric always seemed to have such good advice for Jeremy and Elena.

Never have I hated a character in any TV show more than Lizzie.

Was this written during the writers strike?
5 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Who wrote this? My word, diabolical doesn't come close. When will they realise we were watching for the legends, not some randomers, it's supposed to be about the old guys, the greats. I've no interest in some scantily clad trout pout model pretending she can kick Jason Stathams backside, please! I know we're supposed to suspend disbelief but it only goes so far.

When you dedicate the first 20 minutes of a movie to a certain characters love of the only item left when his body is found cargrilled ... its not a surprise at the end. I spent most of the film just waiting for Barney to roll up as it was obvious he want dead, and for the obvious villain to be revealed ... yawn.

Supernatural: Keep Calm and Carry On (2016)
Season 12, Episode 1

Worst episode!
5 November 2023
Just when you think it can't get any worse, here comes the horrific attempt at an English accent, she was bad enough in Vampire diaries. I knew it was her without even looking as her horrific faux accent gave her away. I've completely lost interest in the show now, it's just boring, the build up every season is so huge and then, fizzle, all solved in the last few seconds.

If I have to endure this damned woman's fake accent for more than two episodes, I'm sorry, but it's going off.

No wonder it only lasted a couple more years .... I'd have stopped watching by now if it was in real time, there just isn't any plot or point.

Struggled to stay awake.
4 November 2023
Fell asleep, twice, watching this episode. I did manage to finish it on the third attempt but wow, was I bored stiff, why did the writers insist on flogging a dead horse? I can't imagine anyone actually liked Metatron. He is so unlikeable and says a whole lot for someone who adds nothing.

Low budget episode of two disliked characters having a chat in a bar. I just couldn't care. Why should I? I don't like either of them. Nothing new is revealed, they're not funny, literally nothing of any interest what so ever happens! It is so damned boring.

I notice all other reviews are written after watching the next episode with context. Mine isn't. I base it on this episode as a stand alone and it was crap.

Shouldn't be allowed to use the original movies name
18 June 2023
VERY thinly related to the original.

Got really sick and tired of hearing about double physics and double maths early on, was that lad only trusted with one line or something? He said ti every three seconds. Haven't had double lessons in schools in decades. Ignoring that irritant and the shockingly bad acting. The rest of the story is utter rubbish, just ridiculous, no humour at all unlike the movie had. This is just some kids being delinquents, swearing, smoking, hacking and stealing. Can do without the woke. Nothing wrong with calling a diner Big baps, we've all had enough now, this isn't entertainment it's crap.

Obvious T'Challa was carrying the first
1 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know what was more confusing, the plot, the ever-changing dodgy accents or the tech that's now gone far beyond my imaginations limits, and I'm a Scifi fan! So thankful for Shuri, the only saving grace, literally everyone else is unlikeable especially Namor. Not really sure what this film wants to be or why.

A tiny little ball of tech can now completely independently, sentiently power a muscle car? How. I really want that broken down somehow. Less than 1 mm of nanotechnology per wheel, brakes, pedals, gears, how is it navigating?

I've gone off on a tangent but it sums up the movie when I spent most of it wandering how the car worked due to boredom.

Marvels becoming too heavily subtitled, very problematic for my severely dyslexic daughter, such a shame they're not more inclusive.

That '90s Show (2023– )
5/10
I wanted to love it!
20 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
As one of my all time favourite ever shows the scenes with the adults are that 70s gold, truly hit the mark. Sadly as soon as its the children it loses everything. Nobody was woke in the 90s, I was a teen, I remember it very well. Most of that 70s shows fans are a similar age and also remember the 90s so it's just not going to work.

Literally had tears of emotion at Red, Kitty, Eric and Donna and then the scene with Kelso and Jakie, omg, so funny it was immense. Finding the candyland stash was a beautiful tribute to Hyde, the character. Its just so very devastatingly disappointing how far short of the mark the teen scenes have fallen. They're just not funny.

Possibly just poor casting but the script is horrific.
14 January 2023
After the world hating Jared in Suicide squad because he's a terrible actor Marvel thought they'd star him in his own movie? Really? He takes three days to speak each word, dramatic pause? Or has time actually stopped whilst I endure this nonsense.

Admittedly stood alongside Matt Smith it is difficult to decide who is worse or more boring. I can't understand who thought these two idiots would make good 'vampires'. They're impossible to like or dislike leaving the movie with nothing to care about. They could just crack on murdering people for no reason and I could care less. Its not funny, there's no real action, there's nothing, just plodding along boring me to sleep.

Confused over the hype.
2 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I just don't get the hype. There's little story, even when a massive event happened his firstborn son and heir being shot and killed, noone cared at all. There's no emotion or grief, noone shed a tear, just chuck him in the horse furnace and seal his fate of eternal damnation. Their beliefs, not mine.

Another son is randomly wandering around murdering people, think he's shot and killed five people in separate incidents by episode three with ZERO questioning or consequences. Doesn't seem remotely plausible and it's getting boring now. I did muster some emotion when his little son was nearly killed. However, the little lad took on and killed an 8 foot rattle snake with his bare hands, so it was just me being a bit of a molly coddler there.

The daughter needs sectioning and not just for that abomination of an accent either, she's horrific, ignoring the hair which seems to be acting independently, she's just horrible. I understand she had a nasty, cold and unloving mother from the flashback, but they're all like that, so it's really no excuse and felt pointless to bring it up. It would only make sense if the rest were even remotely caring!

I don't think I have ever watched a show full of more unlikeable characters. They are all devoid of any emotion, compassion, love, humour. It's like watching wooden puppets ride up and down a hill on a horse for hours on end.

So many shows cancelled after one or two seasons but this has five. It makes no sense at all.

2 stars solely for the casting.
7 October 2022
Had to turn off, really tired of sick twisted wet dreams being passed off as entertainment. Utter nonsense, at every turn you're left wondering why the F would someone say or do that, wtf is going on, why? I very nearly turned it off during the opening scene but decided it might be relevant, it wasn't, other than to set the bar at the lowest possible point for the rest of this tripe. I have always adored Tennant and Tucci but I just could not continue watching, I don't really understand why they both agreed to it, stir crazy after a lengthy lockdown?

Other reviews mention Moffat, if I'd read them to begin with I wouldn't have this stain on my memory.

Absolute nonsens
8 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Ignoring the mammoth plotholes, cringe and jokes only toddler would laugh at all I can think of is poor Odin.

We are reminded every 5 seconds they can only enter Valhalla when dying in battle, so where is Odin? Clearly not reunited with his wife.

If you're going to accept they have to rewritten characters bios, lore and have forgotten the first three movies, enjoy.

Side note, as a woman, I was disgusted that the strong female is called King. On the day we have lost our strong and amazing Queen Elizabeth the II it feels very much all the more a disgrace you have belittled the role of Queen to be lesser than.

So compelling!
20 August 2022
This drew me in and kept me hooked, I just couldn't wait to watch the next episode. The casting is excellent, not many faces I personally recognise, but all fantastic actors. The show has been heavily discussed at home as to what and why, what if, would you? It just opens up so many moral, ethical, and philosophical questions.

I am so tired of watching remakes or similar this is nothing like anything I've ever watched before.

So weird.
8 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This entire episode might have been better spent explaining how or why the Ruby changes people's sexual preference, I mean it's quite a fête, but why? What does (forgot his name) get from people changing sexual preference in a diner? Some warped sexual gratification? Is that what this is all about? How some random ex con gets his rocks off?

This is just ridiculous at this point. Just so dull, there was absolutely no point, reason or logic to this entire episode, it was just utter nonsense. What a complete waste. I wanted to like this show but there is nothing. Its not funny, scary, entertaining, dramatic, suspenseful, it is nothing.

I was just starting to get into it...
8 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Always rely on Coleman to twitter on, in and out of several diabolical accents, ruining a perfectly good TV show. It should be a rule to cast LGBT in the role instead of giving the part to a straight actor/actress it's really not on. It's the equivalent of casting a white person as an Asian, just shouldn't be done.

I was truly enjoying the series until this episode, shocked it was Thewlis who hit the final nail in, I just couldn't continue there is literally no plot.

17 June 2022
I'm almost lost for words.

Absolutely ludicrous plotlines, just ridiculous, I can't even.

Watching a slapstick team of halfwits take down 'hardened criminals' in hand to hand combat has to be THE most ridiculous thing I have ever watched.

Don't even get me started on the doppelgangers, wtf am I watching here? Just no.

Ms. Marvel (2022)

Not even the best marvel thing I've watched today.
9 June 2022
Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter are intelligently written and dominated by strong minded intelligent women, I'm genuinely raging to read this has been rated as better, on what grounds?! Agent May, Ming-na Wen, is a phenomenal actress cast for her ability NOT just to tick a box like the cast of this abomination. It wasn't funny, the characters aren't likable, I was bored and had no inclination to continue watching, where is it better? What is it winning on? Did I watch the wrong show?

The Marvel franchise is rapidly going down hill and it is not the fans who are wrong.

Genuinely surprised Mike Myers worked again after this film.

Cringe, cliche and boring as hell. The overacting from the cat who is clearly boring the children to death is seriously awful.

Weirdest scouse accent I've ever heard. Almost woke up out of distaste, worst accent in a film award, not even Northern ffs!

Unfortunately didn't follow most of the film, I'm unable to read white on black due to a disability and sadly don't speak mandarin, what I did follow was unbelievably boring Marvel really is dead to me.

Pre end game I was such a massive fan, its all gone downhill since.

Abysmal
12 November 2021
Firstly, genuinely impressed that a pairing of Dwayne and Ryan could actually be so poor! Cringe worthy obvious one liners, slow, boring and very difficult to like characters played by genuinely loveable actors!

I'm used to far fetched nonsense and suspending all disbelief, but a tiny woman flooring the Rock by one hand hitting his arm ... wtf? How much does he weigh exactly? Not even sure wonder woman has that level of power. Potentially the most boring film I have watched in a decade.

I can suspend disbelief and be entertained, but nearly 30 year olds acting as children, it's just weird! Throws the whole show off as all I can think is why is no-one questioning these weirdo adults roaming around high school posing as children!

Absolutely should be a 10, compelled to knock a star off for casting, John Cena ... just no!

Idris stole the show, legend that he is, just brilliant I think half those stars are for him!

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie as a daft, funny brilliant comic, we did not stop laughing.

Genuinely the best film I have watched in years for just suspending disbelief at the door and being entertained.

Warning: Spoilers
The entire premise is built on impossibilities, see goofs to avoid spoilers.

I'll just say, the thing in the box, the whole point of the film actually cannot possibly exist!

Spoiler - The Baroness must be incredibly thick to not even consider a girl the same age, with the same name and ridiculously rare hair colour isn't her daughter. Utter nonsense.

So very dissapointed.
9 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I feel like I've waited years and years for this movie! I was so eagerly anticipating my favourite Avenger having her own movie, imo second only to Melinda May in the marvel universes strong bad*** women league!

I was very dissapointed with the new found powers of falling 100s of feet several times perfectly unscathed and of course left totally surprised she now has unbreakable bones and can be launched through concrete walls like a rag doll and just jump up, she's clearly a tough woman, she's not the terminator ffs. One of my main reasons for liking these stronge Marvel Women is they're mere mortal, just human.

The entire plot was boring at best, totally predictable and it was blatantly obvious this was yet another forced way of ramming our screens full of robotic unfeeling women to appear woke, total disregard for content, script or entertainment! The men were weak, ridiculed and very easily overpowered, yawn! Women can be attractive, funny and kick ass whilst having heart, or did noone notice Peggy Carter, Melinda May or Daisy Johnson? I am so over this nonsense now.

I can't put into words how much I was looking forward to this movie, enough to pay £20 to robbing Disney, what an epic let down. Most likely my last Marvel movie or TV show, I'm no longer entertained.

Just awful. Yet another sequel for the sake of a sequel, even the title is daft, they're in America for about 8 seconds! As usual Eddie gives us his cartoonish over acting making us think it's supposed to be a comedy with just one problem, it isn't funny!
