The 15:17 to Paris (2018)
Will Most likely only appeal to die hard Americans.
This movie was a bit like a disappointing blind date. Over an hour of build up then only about two minutes of vigorous action which is over before you know it and that hardly leaves one satisfied.
Stilted acting from all the cast, poor contrived dialogue and too much Prayers and God name dropping.
Best bit was in Berlin when the main characters were firmly put in their place at Hitler's bunker.
I realise a lot of people like this film because it is about heroes, but that is not an objective opinion and an hour long documentary might have told the story better.
A California Christmas (2020)
Absolute Trite
Couldn't get past the first 10 minutes.
Might have helped if the makers had asked for an advisor with a cursory knowledge of dairy farming
Mandie and the Forgotten Christmas (2011)
Laughable at best
We use this movie as a standard for bad Christmas movies. Nothing I've seen so far has come close to it. Might suit 8 year old gullible children
Noise (2007)
Disappointing
Shocking dialogue, poor acting and zero knowledge regarding police procedure. I managed to finish it but that was more due to my persistence than anything else.
William Kelly's War (2014)
Biggest load of codswallop I have ever had the misfortune to watch
Poor acting, errors designed to perpetuate stereotypes. The least they could have done is given the military proper haircuts.

Börü (2018)
Good and bad
I watched this with English dubbing and sub-titles. It was rather off putting but amusing when the spoken word didn't match the subtitles. Some of the physical fight scenes were poorly choreographed and the dialogue lame.
I did understand the jingoistic patriotism shown. I doubt a series could be made in today's Turkey being otherwise.
The last episode is the reason I gave it a 7 and not a 5 - it gave me a few WTF moments.
