Sometimes
30 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Sometimes you watch a horror movie and root for the killer. This is one of those times. I was soooo happy when the killer took out a main character. Unfortunately, way too many of the horrible very unlikable characters survive. Seriously, I could not stand even one character played by unknown actors and the Ethan Landry character was completely hated by all of the main characters. I am certain there is a reason he was dumb, unlikable and as it turns out evil in the end. The same thing happened to the one guy like him in the all girl Ghostbusters. The character was written to be unlikable and ignorant. I expected this was going to be bad. It exceeded my expectations.

Also, doing this movie without the actual lead actress (Neve Campbell) of the franchise just puts the nail in the coffin for me. I won't bother with another.

I love Winnie-The-Pooh
25 March 2023
If they removed all of the actors except for the kill scenes, this would be a pretty decent movie, which is why I gave it a 5. Not one of the actors was good besides the guys in the suits. All of the girls characters were written so you would hate them and want Pooh to take them apart. The one primary male character whined the whole time. I should have counted how many times he whined "sorry" and "Pooh" and "why". That basically sums up his full set of lines.

This is really just "almost" a decent horror movie, but the horrible human characters is what really killed it. I have not read other reviews, so I can give nothing but what I seen in the movie.

I really enjoyed the first few seasons
4 November 2022
This season really ended it for me. I used to enjoy Ellen Page's character, but I cannot stand them now.

The show should have just ended last season. It was pretty climatic at the end. This season I have not finished and doubt I will.

I really don't like superhero shows because the market is so saturated with them now, but this is one of the few that I did like till recently. At least the show is not completely full of drama like most shows are now. There is a story there and some decent comedy.

I fully recommend the first two seasons, but I really cannot recommend this most recent season unless you are just curious.

So amazing...
13 July 2022
There is literally no political correctness. That is so rare in this age of political correctness. I watch for it in every new movie and tv show that comes out, which around 90% of movies/shows have it, but this movie does not. The diversity in this movie is how it should be done. No one pointing a finger and telling someone else they are a racist. Racism never comes into the picture. Just people doing their jobs, living their lives or accomplishing their goals.

This is a great story with a great ending. The seals are realistic. Some people picture a navy seal as ripped and perfect physic, but that is not reality. I knew seals in the Navy. One common thing they did have is intelligence. Otherwise, all shapes and sizes... to a realistic standpoint.

If you enjoy military movies, you will really like this. There was not one character I disliked. Everyone did a great job in their role.

The Batman (2022)

I don't know why they do this
24 April 2022
The movie seems to be filmed a lot like "The Crow" from 1994 which is an amazing movie. Dark and brooding, but also seems to have a lot of filler that makes the flow of the movie feel slow. Almost halfway through the movie I could not believe there was another hour and a half left.

Truthfully, I was kind of bored at this point. I don't care about a lot of action, but I do need a good story and this one is not a good story IMO. Just because it is a Batman movie is not enough to make it a good movie.

So, I made it almost halfway through this movie, but the brick wall I ran into was the line "All anyone cares about in this place are these white, privileged (obscene word)" from black catwoman. I was done there.

I will say Robert Pattinson surprised me at how good he was at Batman and he buffed up for the role. Zoe was good, till that one line...

Terrible
5 February 2022
Leon is an awesome badass character in the Resident Evil universe, but here he is portrayed as stupid and useless till the last 5 minutes of the movie. Seems they could have found a guy that looked more like how Leon is portrayed in the game and cartoons... There are a few good scenes, but the movie moves at a snails pace with few interesting things that happen.

Time for another reboot. Again.

Used to be one of my favorite shows
7 December 2021
I watched this till season five, but all of the sudden they made half the show about Randall's race. I don't understand why they take successful shows and turn them into left leaning political lectures. Randall was possibly my favorite character, but they ruined it for me.

Some of the best writing I have seen till season 5.

Two Great actors and a bad script
25 June 2021
It's obvious the production value of this movie is extremely low. With two great actors such as Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne, you would expect a blockbuster type movie, but that is not the case here.

Every actor in the movie besides the two main stars and Amber Midthunder cannot act. It's cringe worthy watching some of the characters do their lines or show the wrong kind of reaction in every scene.

Really, the absolute worst part of this movie is the writing. The idea is good and had me intrigued, but the lines are awkward or out of place in a lot of scenes.

There is one scene in the movie were Amber Midthunder is asked by the guy riding with her, what she is like when she is really hungry. Her reply is she acts... white... I don't enjoy political correctness in blockbuster movies and hate it even more in horrible movies like this one. There is no saving grace here. Worst movie I have watched this year.

Since my first review was deleted. Here is the summary of it. The first season is great, the second season is based completely on political correctness and racism. So long freedom of speech.

I gave this a go
29 January 2021
I love western themed movies/tv shows. Within the first 15 minutes, what I gathered was the female Mexican cop had a chip on her shoulder about her skin color and her sex. I mean, the story was there and could have possibly been good. The main character is good and shows his faults while dealing with the drama from the loss of his wife, but I know that if I go past the first episode, this show will end up being half about racism and misogyny with possibly the other half being about what happen to the main character's wife.

Most shows have at least a good first season before injecting left leaning political correctness, but this show dove right into it.

New Mutants the gay love story
12 November 2020
This is a gay love story parading as an X-men story.

Really, this could have been good. I liked all of the characters, the story was mediocre, but ok and some of the powers were pretty awesome. Illyana Rasputin could easily lead a new movie about her character alone with her amazing powers.

The atmosphere was good in some spots, but the obvious and forced gay love story really just destroyed this movie. You could tell as soon as the two were in the same room together that they would end up a couple.

Anyway, I would recommend waiting to Netflix it.

It was almost good
5 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Between the low budget and blatant "evil white people" looking to wipe out the all minority Bronx, I just cannot say it was good. The one good white person in the movie turned out to be the most evil person in the movie. Around 15 minutes into the movie, I already knew the whole story. I fully watched it to find out if I was right. I was. Nothing new here. Just more left leaning politics. The ending had a pretty cringy moment. It was so ridiculous.

It really is too bad. This movie could have been ok.

Ghost and Tommy were the whole show
7 September 2020
Ghost and Tommy's friendship was the whole show in "Power". I love the show because of those two. The worst character in "Power" was Tariq. What person in their right mind would decide that Tariq should become the new lead? He is a terrible actor. Him and Tasha cannot keep this show going, I did not care for Tasha much either.

If at the least Tommy was still in this, I might give it more of a go, but I cannot stand that brat Tariq. Makes it worse that the actor playing Tariq cannot act. Really, he does not even look like he is related to Ghost.

Some of the worst acting ever with numerous plot holes
1 September 2020
Absolutely horrible movie with some of the most wooden acting I have ever seen. The main character was ok, but the dad and woman were both atrocious. They had the same look, same voice tone and same emotion for EVERY scene.

Bill and Ted's worst movie
29 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is Bill and Ted in the age of political correctness. It's all there. In no way, shape or form is this movie worthy of a 9 or 10. Those people and I must have watched two different movies, because at the most, this movie had a few ok laughs that became stupid and awkward after the first few.

Even before we see the daughters (which were sons in the second movie) I predicted that their daughters would end up saving the day/universe, and I was right. Then, they go back in time to get 2/3 black artists (pandering as usual) An Asian flute woman that I have never heard of, a drummer from the stone age??? That I have never heard of. Jimmy Hendrix I can understand, great addition. Louis Armstrong did not seem like a good fit, or even forced. Mozart was another addition, which was good, but seemed out of place.

In summary, full of political correctness, feminism and pandering with a mediocre story and mostly unfunny moments.

This really did not need to be made
21 July 2020
The first Crocodile Dundee was an amazing movie and one of my favorite movies ever. The second was really good, but not great. The third was horrible and this one is worse.

About 30 minutes in, I wondered why I was even still watching. It was so boring and pointless. Horrible acting. Horrible story. The only positive thing I can say about this movie is it is linked to Crocodile Dundee 1, and Paul Hogan did not let Hollywood give him a black son in a new Crocodile Dundee movie.

Pretty Mediocre and horrible dramatic toward the end
3 May 2020
It starts out kind of interesting, sprinkled with drama as the series movies forward. It has a few interesting characters, the most interesting being Ben Stone, while his sister is primarily just nice eye candy, but annoying. Unfortunately Ben's wife and daughter are the worst part of the show with their irritating whining or complaining over one thing or another.

I have a feeling that the show will never actually tell the viewer where the "callings" are coming from or why. Once you get to season 2, the drama starts in heavy. Most TV shows these days seem to do this. Run out of actual story, or don't have enough story, so they fill with drama. Toward the end of season 2, drama and sappy mush scenes are front and center, showing awkwardly fake shows of emotion with obviously fake weeping/anger over one thing or another.

In summary, it starts out just "ok" and goes down hill from there. It's an average at best show.

Bad reality show
16 April 2020
This is just like all those other "non-scripted" reality shows out there that are just horrible shows. I had hopes this show might actually be informative because I find Skinwalker Ranch interesting, but this is just a dramatic reality show in disguise of an informative tv show. If you want to see something that has to do with Skinwalker ranch and is actually good and entertaining, watch Skinwalker Ranch the movie.

Good to a point
28 March 2020
The story up to a point is really pretty good. Once you get to that point is when it really just goes down hill and that is not far into the movie. Vin does fine in his role. I don't like direction that Guy Pearce's character goes. That was a real turning point for me in liking the movie or not liking the movie because I am a fan of Guy Pearce.

To sum it up, the story is bad, but the idea and characters were good.

Just crazy
15 March 2020
I like some of the characters and the story is interesting, but everything that happens seems mostly unrealistic. People that can actually see, believe in being able to see or that want to read books seem to be considered witches... The worst part of the show might be the queen that "prays" all of the time. Praying entails her either or some other sexual act done on her while she basically whines over a guy leaving her that her army is now hunting... Probably because he left her.

Give it a try if you want, but if you think logically, it will be a bit hard to watch because most things don't mesh well together and are illogical.

Not horrible, but not good
18 February 2020
I watched this movie all the way through, but found myself messing with other things or doing something else as the movie progressed because it really was not that interesting.

The main character is mildly interesting, the rest of the cast is either bland or just plain unlikable. Danielle Harris's character is irritating toward the end, I kind of expected more from her character with her movie background. The Character "Kevin" was just a jerk and the other girl in the group was just forgettable. See? I don't even remember her name.

The ending was nonsensical and abrupt. They could have done more. Anyway, good for background noise, but really not worth the time otherwise.

More about racism than anything
9 February 2020
The fight scenes were good as usual and I love the depiction of Ip Man as being calm, honorable and good. It was nice to see Bruce Lee in a few scenes, very few. You can feel that the end of Ip Man is coming in how the story moves along. I did enjoy this movie to a point because it gave a conclusion to Ip Man's story, but half of the movie seemed to be focused on white people being racist toward every other race which most movies and tv shows in this age of political correctness like to focus on now.

There is a big difference in the story telling from the first Ip Man to this final installment. The first had a great story that did not try to stereotype anyone or any race. This one is focused on race period. If you want to see the conclusion to a once great franchise, I recommend this as a rental, but otherwise, I cannot recommend it.

One of the better shows
7 February 2020
The people writing negative reviews must enjoy only mindless super hero shows like The Flash or The Arrow that are full of just drama. This show actually has a story to it and interesting characters. I have watched up to episode four and have enjoyed every episode. You can tell it is low budget for sure, but the acting and filming is fine.

It is worth a try, if you don't like it, no real loss but a few minutes of your time at trying something new. Think of it this way, at least it is not another remake, reboot or sequel. Hollywood loves all three of those and rarely gives something new a try.

Good idea, horribly done
2 February 2020
First off, the characters were not bad. The story "idea" was sound, but just terrible execution with left leaning politics injected at every turn. The line that made me almost turn the show off was "as long as you don't say that pollution is the fault of old white men" With a come back of "but it is" from the main character. I mean, I was able to get passed the horrible acting, the terrible horrendous lines and the mediocre story with a lot of "climate change" scare tactics push, but the left leaning politics just made me hate this show. I watched the full six episodes and can say I enjoyed about 20 minutes total of it. I kept watching because I expected something amazing to happen, that never happened. Even the ending was a real let down.
