INTERESTING AND WELL WRITTEN
10 October 2021
The only negative I can think of for this movie is I wish they had gone in more depth about Dylan Sprouses character. I wanted to know more about his history with his parents and old teachers. I feel like this would have made a great TV show. Also the ending was a bit rushed.

Kept Me Interested
6 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
So the description for this on Netflix lacked what the movie was actually about and I had no idea this was a Stephen King adaptation until afterwards. But I thought the concept was fascinating. The plots are mostly back and forth between a 2 month stretch of time so that was just enough to keep me interested. I wish there had been more of a plot outside the field. The beginning of the movie jumps right into it, so you dont know much about the characters when it starts. I thought the acting was good, the plot about the rock was okay (although I wish it had been explained a little bit more, like why was this rock here? Was it a meteor? Haunted?) The ending made me wonder if Travis was going to be stuck there forever, if the kid stopped them from ever going into the field in the first place. That means Travis would never had to go looking for them which means he wouldn't have ended up there. So I wish something at the end made me think he got away also. But other than that, the movie kept me thinking and entertained and that's all I really ask for in a movie! Enjoyed!!

Slender Man (I) (2018)

It was okay but better than 3 stars
29 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I give this 7 stars because it did keep my interest and wasnt the worse movie out there. I loved the video they had to watch to summon SM. It was very creepy. And I loved the woods scenes. And the idea of getting a video call of their house and someone walking up to their rooms was very unnerving. The acting was okay. The very first scene where the girls are on the bleachers, it was very terrible in the acting but it gets better. Some things that I wish had been different were * the lighting in the background. I wish slenderman had been more illuminated in the background so I could see him. The girls would see him and gasp and I hadn't even seen what was scary. This happened several times. * the CGI was a bit obvious also. It wasnt too distracting but the make out scene where his face was distorted. that was terrible lol I laughed at it as it was happening. * the plot was okay but I wish it would have said something about why their parents were letting these young girls out at night after a girl had just gone missing. I wouldn't let my kid out at night in these situations. And also the end was very abrupt. I wasnt expecting it to be ended so quickly and it was weird she said take me then ran away? Maybe she just got too scared but still was a disconnect there. * I wish the characters were a little bit more distinguishable. They didnt really have anything that stood out about them except the one girl was African American and the other was a ginger and one had a sister. That was how I kept track of them because I didn't really know which one was the main character. But overall I think the movie did its job on being a horror movie. It had its unsettling scenes and creepy moments. I did enjoy it but it did leave me with questions at the end

In 2018, still a great show just with a few problems
24 September 2018
I see a lot of people slamming this show on here and I can see where they are coming from. I just watched a 2001 episode and a 2008 episode and the differences were drastic. The newer episodes are way more fast paced. The older eps are slower and have longer evolving plots. It seems like in the newer episodes there are a couple different things going on randomly. It's still not terrible to me and I can still watch it but it is different. Mr. Krabs I admit is too stingy. He makes his daughter cry in like 5 episodes because of his greediness. I dont remember what season it is but squidward says hes the most miserable person in bikini bottom and makes such a big deal of it and is just so depressed. Kinda different than his usual agitation towards spongebob but loving his artsy life of music and fancy living. That's honestly what's wrong with today's shows. They are too extra, they have been dumbed down and move too quickly(which I believe can make kids more restless). Spongebob does cry more but I hadn't noticed it until someone mentioned it on here. But honestly other than these issues, I still watch spongebob sometimes when I'm feeling down and it always cheers me up. I still get a chuckle or two even in the newer episodes. It's still better than the breadwinners and adventure time, which arent my style at all. Most of my favorite episodes are in the early seasons though (when krabs and spongebob accidentally kill the health inspector, the band episode, and the one with spongebob getting the novelty soda hat and krabs tries to trick it from him). Even though its almost too extra now, I still give it 8.5- 9 stars.

A lot of hard work and respect for the original
12 September 2018
Voice acting is great, animation is beautiful, story line is well thought out and interesting, turtles personalities are true to the source, they still have the brotherly bonding, its funny enough for children, just overall great. The only things I could complain about (and its reaching some) is Donnies obsession over April gets old after a while and sometimes Mikey comes across as too immature and incapable. Everything else is great, I love this show and I'm 25
