The Leftovers (2014)
Let The Mystery Be
The Leftovers is without a doubt the greatest television drama ever produced. Based off the best selling novel by Tom Perrotta, The Leftovers picks up three years after "The Sudden Departure" (an event where 2% of the world's population disappeared without a trace) struck and left millions of people with the unanswered questions of what happened and where did their loved ones go?
Season 1 covers the entire story of the Tom Perrotta novel. Seasons 2 and 3, (written by Damon Lindelof), picks up in Jarden Texas, a small town where not a single person departed, earning the town the nickname "Miracle, Texas".
Here we meet The Murphy's. A family comprised of John Murphy, Erica Murphy, Michael Murphy, and Evangeline Murphy. At first, The Murphy's seem like your ordinary everyday American family, but over the course of the Season 2 Premier you see disturbing images and hear weird things that would classify The Murphy's as anything but normal.

The Walking Dead: The Day Will Come When You Won't Be (2016)
Like Nothing Else on Television
As a huge fan of The Walking Dead, my excitement for the newest villain, Negan, and who he chose to "Lucille" was the highest it's been for any television show I've seen. This episode certainly lived up to my expectations. The sheer brutality and tension was palpable throughout the entire runtime. Step aside Game of Thrones' "The Rains of Castamere". While the Red Wedding was shocking, it didn't hold a candle to The Walking Dead 7x01.
