Reacher (2022)
Is there any need?
I certainly enjoyed the movies. Is there any reason there has to be the killing/murdering for no reason? And showing it in great detail? Burying bodies in cement? What part of the plot does that add to?
The original movies weren't this graphic. Yes, I get it that some static characters will be killed. It happens in all action films...well, almost all, but there are varying degrees of the graphic depictions. For fans, I hope there's a season 3 but this only normalizes what you are watching to the point it doesn't even register as macabre (and yes I know they are actors and no one really died).
Frankly, Reacher and his crew are pyschopaths who show no emotion. I had to look away from the screen more than once...got to episode 5 season, but I'm done.
Midnight Mass (2021)
Learn some English
Priest and Riley on bench at 30:35...priest says 'between you and I, Riley'.... FFS, it's 'between you and me'!!!!!
The Crown (2016)
Head tilt
Were they given directions to keep their heads down or to the side? Charles seems to permanently have his head leaning forward, Thatcher permanently has her head turned on an angle, and the same for Diana.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
60s?
If it is the 60s, doubtful there would be black girls in the orphanage or black men working there.
The Capture (2019)
Only one episode in
Certainly returning to watch the rest. The first thing I thought of was why didn't they contact the bus company? Or should I wait?
Tenet (2020)
Huh?
What did I just watch? I couldn't follow this...characters walking forward while others walk backward? In order to accomplish what? Two characters are talking while on an airport bus (going to a plane or from one?), then the conversation continues in the next scene but they are now walking on a street.
I don't know if watching it again would even help.
Pilgrimage (2017)
I will carry it!
When Tom Holland's character says, " I will carry it. I will carry the relic," I could not help but think of Lord of the Rings. Earlier on it first made me think of that with carrying the relic to Rome, much like the ring must be returned to Mordor.
Nurses (2020)
It's a TV drama. Get over it
Sat through the first episode and now watching episode two. I'm not a nurse so I have no idea what it is like. I do remember Boston public and that reflected nothing of what teachers lives are like. Even Mr. D doesn't come close.
