Boring as this movie may be, it has two things I love. Boobs and David mother ducking Bowie. David Bowie is an alien, this is not for debate. So he plays the hell out of the character here. It's a little too artsy for the general public and oftentimes seems aimless in its structure, but I still like it all the same. I'm grading this movie on a curve because I'd like to see it make it's way into the 7's range. Rip Torn is almost unrecognizable young. The characters are likable and Bowie is charismatic as the lead. What more can I say but I like this movie an awful lot. I wish he were in more movies before he had passed on.

I Had High Expectations For This Movie and They Were All Met
14 September 2022
Where to start? This movie is just so lovely! I've always asked myself what constitutes a life worth living and in a way this movie answers that question. If you can spend all your time with someone who completes you, that's a life we'll spent. Man it's wonderful. It's also extremely funny, and the time loop stuff is well explained. Andy Samberg perfectly plays the apathetic drunk who cares more than he lets on (as redundant as that sentence is) and Cristin Millioto plays the intelligent yet flawed character just as well. Both characters are nearly flawless. This movie is now one of my favorites; Can't reccomend it enough.
Highly underrated episode

I Hate My Life, Love This Episode
18 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Knowing what Dan Harmon went though a few years ago it's pretty obvious he wrote this partially as a bitter divorce and I can respect that. More than any other Rick and Morty episode to me it portrays the cynicism of humanity. You want Morty to be able to make it work so much but it just can't work. So it ends. And that sucks but so does life. So do relationships. Anyone who's been through a breakup can understand the feeling. Of such a strong desire dying.
It's a good episode

I really dig this episode as it brings up some pretty compelling points, especially for a show made for kids who more than likely couldn't understand the historical parallels and philosophical points made. How important is free will? Would it be worth it to lose that in place of order and security. It's interesting to be sure.
Creepy as Heck

The Toyman as a character is undeniably unsettling. The design of his lair, the darkness, the faces, the scene work, all of it is deeply unsettling. Bruce Timm knows how to design a character. That goes for The Toyman and Darci Mason, somehow one of the hottest cartoon characters I've ever laid eyes on. This episode is by no means a masterpiece, but it's very good for what it is.

Warning: Spoilers
I've been watching every Scooby doo show and movie (I'm like 25% through so nowhere near an expert or anything) and while this is nowhere near the worst Scooby doo project, it Infuriates me none the less and so it is the first I will review. Velma pisses me off as she is such a close minded person that she can't reasonably call herself a scientist. Adding insult to injury, bill nye, a famous scientust, is here and he at no point tells her that we as humans know very little for certain and new discoveries are made all of the time.

It's not Hill House Guys
22 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
And it's not trying to be. Hill house is a ghost story about family and this is a story about love and the family you make. I honestly can't decide which is a better show but they're both great. I loved seeing Dani and Jamie fall in love and I also lived Peter in a Hannibal lector kind of way. He's interesting to watch. Watching the story unfold was so amazing and in some respects even better than Hill House. The ending left me in tears, something only two movies have ever had the ability to do. All in all this is phenomenal
I got the twist half right

Warning: Spoilers
Throughout the episode I kept saying: "They're in a model town because they're dolls." So when the girl picked them up I smiled. But then once they started moving my smile faded and when her mother said "your father got them straight from earth" I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. It can drag at times but other than that it's neat

Favorite Spider-Man Movie By Far!
28 December 2018
I loved how this movie balanced both a sense of humor and very effective dramatic scenes extremely well. It also took the Spider-Man origin story and adapted it to make it more interesting. The voice acting was flawless abd the animation was stunning. I loved this movie
