Swarm (2023)
DUMB
What a dumb idea for a show. People talk trash about this girls favorite singer on twitter so she tracks them down and kills them. This story has been done before. This is like the Tyler Perry version of that story.

Yellowstone (2018)
SEASON 5 SO BORING AND DISAPPOINTING!
SEASON 5 WAS SO BORING AND DISAPPOINTING! ALL SEASON 5 WAS SLOW MOTION COWBOY SCENES WITH CORNY COUNTRY MUSIC PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND! THEY HIGHLIGHTED A CATTLE DRIVE THROUGH MULTIPLE EPISODES WITH CORNY COUNTRY MUSIC! THIS SEASON HAD ZERO ACTION AT ALL! IT'S LIKE THEY DON'T WANT TO SHOW PEOPLE THE REASON THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SHOW IN THE FIRST PLACE WHICH WAS THE COWBOYS AND RIP DOING DIRTY WORK AND TAKING GUYS TO THE TRAIN STATION. I DON'T RIP EVEN PUNCHED A DUDE OUT THIS SEASON! TOO MUCH DIALOGUE AND ZERO ACTION! THEY ACTUALLY SPENT AN ENTIRE EPISODE OF THEM DRIVING CATTLE THROUGH A MOUNTAIN AND THEN FOCUSING ON AN OLD MAN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW OR CARE ABOUT DYING UNDER A FREAKING TREE!
Eight for Silver (2021)
Awful
The previews were very misleading. This movie has horrible acting and special effects! When it comes time for someone to be killed the movie starts to show super blurry glimpses with blood. You never get to see what's going on or how the person is dying. I don't see how or why this movie was Rated R when PG-13 would've been sufficient. I know when I watch a horror movie I want to see gore and lots of it.
No Exit (2022)
Whoa what a ride!
I definitely didn't know what I was getting into with this movie but I'm glad I watched it. This was a very good intense thriller. It reminded me of a Quentin Tarantino movie especially the Hateful Eight. This movie is a must see for thriller/suspense movie fans!
Dexter: New Blood (2021)
Season 9 Finally!
I've wanted a new season of Dexter for over a decade now and Season 9 does not disappoint! Is it different than the first 8 seasons, yes it is very different. It's been 10 years since the last season and Dexter is that much older so of course it's going to be different. Different isn't always a bad thing.
The Harder They Fall (2021)
Solid Entertaining Flick
I wasn't expecting much going into watching this movie. Honestly the previews made it look kind of cheesy but it turned out to be a decent western. It was definitely an over the top western like Django Unchained. It has the same extreme kill scenes and same totally unbelievable storyline. For the most part it was a solid entertaining movie.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)
Dawson's Creek vs. The Apocalypse
Get ready for Dawson's Creek vs. The Apocalypse! This show is across the board awful. Some of the worst acting I've seen in a while. Those kids are a lame snooze fest. This is easily my least favorite of The Walking Dead Universe. This show was definitely targeted to a younger demographic of 18-24 years. It was pretty much a slow over dramatized teen sitcom with walkers.
Malignant (2021)
Please no
I've been wanting to watch this movie since first reading about it being made. Too much anticipation of the movie definitely led me to my rating. I was very disappointed with James wants new horror flick. Why are so many of the newer movies going so cheap on their actors and hiring people off the street? It's the same issue I saw with Army Of The Dead on Netflix and that movie called Old that just came out. I was so excited to see both of those movies just as much as I was to see Malignant but in the end they were all 4/10 flicks mainly because of the actors and actresses.
Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2021)
Not bad at all
Ignore all the bad reviews. If you like the Saw movies and movies similar to Saw then you will like it. This was a good solid horror flick!
The Girlfriend Experience (2016)
Season 3- What A Stinker!
Season 1 of the Girlfriend Experience was sexy, erotic and made you excited to keep watching. Riley Keough was so beautiful and sexy. She was so hot that I wouldn't blame anyone for spending $500 for a date with her. Season 2 was not as good but did have a beautiful bright spot named Louisa Krause! Season 2 was divided up between the character Krause played and another escort that was in witness protection or something which sucked. The part of the season that focused on the escort in witness protection was extremely boring and dumb. I don't remember hardly any nudity either which really sucks when it's expected in this type of show. The part of the season that showed Louisa Krause was pretty good. She was very attractive and had the body of a goddess which also looked damn good in the nude. Which brings me to season 3. By far the worst season made. I was excited when I read Steven Soderbergh would be doing season 3 but that excitement came and went like a stale fart. The girl in season 3 was hot but there was never any action or nudity. I mean really you're in a show about an escort that gets paid for sex and there's no nudity shown or any hot sex scenes is really lame. It reminds me of the Jennifer Lopez movie Hustlers about strippers and that movie had zero nudity in it especially with any of the main stars from the movie which doesn't make sense and sucks!
Black Summer (2019)
Excellent
This show was a very pleasant surprise. I must say that I wasn't expecting to like it but I ended up loving it. The story was good along with the acting and most importantly the gore. For a zombie show to be truly worthy to watch the gore should always be top notch and extra bloody. This show along with The Walking Dead are the blueprints on how zombie shows and movies should be made. When talking about the best zombie shows on tv Black Summer is right there behind The Walking Dead.
Wrong Turn (2021)
Wrong Turn indeed
This is right up there at the top with Red Dawn and Point Break as worst remakes.
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
One of the Best! CLASSIC
This is absolutely one of the best zombie flicks that's ever been made. Truly terrifying how fast the zombies are in this movie. I've always been used to the zombies walking around super slow but this version changed my whole perspective. In previous movies and shows you could just walk away from a slow zombie but not in this one.
Army of the Dead (2021)
What a stinker of a movie!
First of all my favorite type of movies has always been horror and post apocalyptic flicks with or without zombies. This movie had so much potential but in the end it sucked ass!! The zombies looked pretty cool but that was it. The idea of the zombies being trapped in Las Vegas and the zombies being smarter was actually kinda dumb. But by far what makes this movie suck so much ass is the acting. Which sucks to say because I like Dave Bautista. Every actor and actress in this movie was just awful. Especially the guy who was there to crack the safe and the Ellen DeGeneres reject helicopter pilot!!! Seriously (WTF) where did they find those two??? Was Snyder strapped for cash with budgeting actors and actresses or something??? I expected way better from Zack Snyder especially since his Dawn Of The Dead remake is one of my favorite movies.
Boss Level (2020)
Very Cool Movie
I thought Boss Level would just be an okay movie with decent action. I was very surprised that this was such a cool movie. As a 80's & 90's gamer myself I really liked the vibe and nostalgia of this movie. Let's be honest when you see Frank Grillo as the star of a movie you get a little nervous. The only movies I can ever remember with Frank Grillo always had him playing a bad guy. I must admit that Frank Grillo was an awesome lead role for Boss Level. He just fit the character so well and made it his own! Excellent movie that everyone needs to check out.
Warrior (2019)
Whoa
I was bored and snowed in today and ran across this little gem. The preview looked cool so I thought I would give it a chance. Whoa it was better than I thought it would be and way better than the preview. Great action and the fighting along with the killing was top notch.
Movie 43 (2013)
HILARIOUS!!!!
This movie was so funny it made me cry! The part with the homeschool son with "Ray Donovan" as his dad was so funny! Hugh Jackman was hilarious in it too! It's vulgar and disgusting just the way I like! Don't listen to all the bad reviews from prudes. Keep in mind it is rated R for a reason. If you like movies like grandma's boy, Step Brothers or any Seth Rogan films then you will enjoy this movie.
Ray Donovan (2013)
Excellent Show EXCEPT For Season 5!
Ray Donovan is a excellent show with the exception of season 5. I really didn't understand the writers vision for season 5. All of the slow boring cancer flashbacks had me thinking just kill Abby off already and be done with her. Season 5 starts off with so much stuff you know nothing about. I mean come on the show starts with Abby dead and then you see Terry not shaking from his Parkinson's and Ray being arrested for beating down his dad. I was like WTF is going on??? Bottom line Ray Donovan is an awesome show but I would personally suggest just skipping season 5 all together.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)

The Lie (2018)
Very Cool
This movie was a tense and emotional roller coaster. Interesting look at a set of parents willing to do whatever's necessary to protect their child and keep her out of prison.
Black Summer (2019)
Excellent

Z Nation (2014)
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
This is by far the worst zombie show that's ever been made. The quality of the show looks shoddy and it's at times it's way too silly, goofy and dumb. It's a bunch of low B Class actors and actresses that can not act to save their own lives. Should've figured it would suck seeing how it's a SYFY channel original. Anything made by the Syfy channel is just crap. If you like movies like Sharknado then it might be up your alley. But if you're a grown up and enjoy real zombie shows then I suggest passing on this one. There's obviously a reason that it only made it through four seasons. And that reason is it sucks. This show doesn't come anywhere close to actual good shows like The Walking Dead or Black Summer.
Lovecraft Country (2020)
Very cool show
I think this is a very cool show with great acting and great special effects. I had no idea what the show was about. I went into the show blind not having even read an article about it. I must admit I was getting a little bored toward the end of the episode but the last 15min changed that quick! Give it a chance if you like horror/mystery flicks.
Shot Caller (2017)
One of the best prison flicks ever made
One of the best prison flicks I've seen. This is right up there with Brawl In Cell Block 99 and Blood In Blood Out except with white supremacists. Shows the brutal side of life in prison and what you must do to stay alive.
American Dream/American Knightmare (2018)
DEATH ROW 4 LIFE
I grew up listening to Death Row Music. Dr. Dre, 2Pac and especially Snoop Dogg. To this day I still think that this is and will always be the best era for rap music period! If you listened to Death Row music you knew who Suge Knight was. Suge was always the big scary looking dude that ran the record label and didn't take crap off of anyone. This documentary was done very well by a legit movie director (Antoine Fuqua) who made the Equalizer films and Training Day! It has great interviews that Fuqua did with Suge personally and has AWESOME old footage of Dre, 2Pac and Snoop. Regardless of your feelings for Suge if you liked the music you'll like this documentary.
