Although since the original Predator it has never been an impressive franchise in terms of sequels this prequel is of high standard. This film would have benefited massively had it been released theatrically . This is a really good movie. Brilliant quality. The concept from the beginning is intriguing stripping things down and going back to basics literally but just because it's simple doesn't mean it's stupid. The action is incredible the story is good with a main character that you can get invested in. Her journey is one that is deeply compelling. Brilliant all round apart from some cgi but I suppose considering the budget it's brilliant.

I was excited for this movie anyways because I read the comics and I was even more hyped when I saw the reactions to the movie just before it was properly released. I watched it and yes it has it's moments it is good but not as amazing as people are saying. It currently stands at 8.1 on IMDb but it really should be mid 7s like 7.2 to 7.6 but not above. So keep in mind yes it's good but it has holes in the writing.

This is probably one of the most underrated movies I've seen and also one of the best hidden gem finds I've had. The story is great, performances are great, soundtrack and directing too. I was conflicted in the final scene of the movie but I won't spoil anything but it was engrossing for a first watch. Every now and then you find a movie that slips through the cracks like this and The Salton Sea. The scenery in this movie is amazing. Gritty and realistic. Pierce Brosnan got to show some acting chops as did Liam Neeson. Liam Neeson of course delivers he was on a roll during these years he was Oscar calibre at the time.

This has one of the most compelling stories in the entirety of the Assassin's Creed franchise not the best but profound in a new way. There was Assassin's Creed before rogue and when rogue came along it changed the game. It demonstrated that not everything is black or white, good or evil it displays the grey area in an epic story of morality over power. It did an excellent job showing how an Assassin may be pushed to become a templar and shows that just because you're a templar it doesn't mean your evil. It had an intelligent story.

This show was your guilty pleasure. It got a bad rap. Still has a bad rap but the real people listen or watch this show. It's extravagant , crazy and it pushed the boundaries and went passed the boundaries many a time but with all of it's wildness there's beautiful moments, hilarious moments and heartbreaking moments interwoven into the show. Yes it began vulgar who cares. People like vulgar they are vulgar the reason people are interested is because Howard Stern says what the ordinary people feel and gets the overpayed celebrities to be more raw and honest than any other talk show host on TV. It's what this generation needs to an extent. It's what they want.

People need to see this movie. It's amazing I won't go into any of the plot but it really shows you what's it's really like when dealing with a shot caller. A great tale of sacrifice and it's a Shakespearean tragedy. One of the best movies of 2017. Watch this and Good Time. Those are the hidden gems of 2017

Johnny Depp puts in an expected interesting performance but mature. It's as if he's found a different gear in his talent. This movie is powerful and strangely necessary as a result of current times. Well made and there is so much unknown talent in this movie on camera and off and one of the reasons I praised Johnny for a mature performance was because he made those around him go up a gear. Sometimes you can sense competition between actors in award contending movies but Johnny allowed others to shine as well as shining himself to a very high standard perhaps his best performance in years.

Don't judge a film because you think it misrepresents the location. Find the source material first. This movie is action packed and does have a good story despite the hate it's been getting

It's not just one of the best it's probably the best going. The writers never cease to write themselves into corners which is what makes it great because they then have to write themselves out of corners. The directors are all good solid . Ozark has a distinctive style some people relate it to Breaking Bad and yes it is like that sometimes but it's very much it's own thing. The directors even distinguished this with the color it's very cold meanwhile breaking bad is always warm. In later seasons of Ozark they start to add some warmth in color but that's only to make the most out of Mexico. Jason Bateman is not only pulling off the acting but the directing and you can see that he's evolving along the way too he's trying different things especially in the 3rd season he's stepping outside the comfort zone that he made for himself in the first 2 seasons. This show is not afraid to cross boundaries either

To believe DC would cancel a good show with a lot of potential like Swamp Thing then cancel it for this crap. They had an opportunity to grow a character that nobody really knows about it was building a cult following but cancel it to use a big character which is more crazy because by putting this character in CW hands is like reputation suicide this is how you destroy a character. Don't make a thing if it's not good DC you are only hurting yourselves . Whoever said to cancel Swamp Thing deserves to lose their job. Batwoman should be cancelled with immediate effect and DC must bring back swamp thing make it more accessible. Netflix is out there for a reason and it worked for marvel look at what Netflix did with Daredevil. You also have HBO for Christ sake you can make some great shows but you just don't have the brain to do the best thing for yourselves .

Demonstrates that Guy Ritchie still has it and that Colin Farrell is needed back on the big stage his talent ability are now basically almost perfect. Hopefully he does well in Batman. Hugh Grant finally demonstrated some unknown range and I think these kind of characters would suit him in future. Charlie Hunam shows why he's probably deserving of being a trustee of Guy Ritchie. Matthew is playing posh drug running Matthew exactly how you'd expect him to play this character ... finely.

Watch Rocky 4 then Creed 2 . Enhancing the feeling. The Hustler and the colour of money is a comparison. Fight sequences could have been better on the director's part but the director is good just needs to work a little more on his craft . Star is good . Stallone is Rocky as always and Dolph Lundgren actually pulled off an emotional scene

James Wan has created a unique visual experience never seen before. Good storytelling. Solid acting nothing amazing but everyone pulls their roles off well. Only weak point is the writing it could have possibly been better in the script but it could have been edited to fix the writing flaws but it wasn't . Overall a very good movie it deserves to stay at 8.1
