Best Masterpiece Anime Movie All time 😭😭😭😘😍😍😍
Mystic River (2003)
Masterpiece movie by Clint Eastwood
Twenty years ago, the boys Jimmy Markun, Sean Devine and Dave Boy le are neighbors and pals, playing hockey on the street. One day, Dave is kidnapped by two men, being sexually abused, but esca pes from them four days later. In the present days, each one of them followed one way in their lives: Jimmy (Sean Penn) is married with Annabeth Markum (Laura Linney), has three daughters and has a small business. Sean (Kevin Bacon) is a detective, and his pregnant wife left him six months ago. His colleague is the detective Whitey Powers (Laurence Fishburne). And Dave (Tim Robbins) is a traumatized man, married with Celeste Boyle (Marcia Gay Harden) and having a you ng son. W hen the nineteen years old daughter of Jimmy, Katie Markum (Emmy Rossum), is found dead in the neighborhood, the three friends in childhood meet each ot her again, in the investigation of the murder. A tragic event happens in the conclusion of this investigation. This movie is excellent. Yesterday, I saw it on DV D and I was impressed with the direction of Clint Eastwood and the performance of the cast. It is almost impossible to highlight one actor or actress, but I was stunned with the performance of Sean Penn. It is a film based on the acting, and not on special effects, shootings or race of cars. I was very impressed, since the tragic story of the loss of the youth is very real, full of human flaws, disturbances, prejudice and judgements. The destiny of this movie in the future may be to be considered a contemporary classic. My vote is nine.

The Illusionist (2006)
Greet Mystery Illusion movie
Tonight was one of those night I had gone to the movies just because I wanted to, no specific title in mind. I get there, and The Illusionist, which I had heard nothing about exce pt that it had been compared to The Prestige, as they were both about magic. I went not knowing what to expect, and for most of t he movie, the plot seemed very linear and although it had many good parts, it was not hing amazing. And then (SPOILER ALERT)the ending started. At first I didn't understand what was going on, what the the Orange tree business meant. And then as the images started to flow, I started to understand. I' m majoring in movie directing, and I have an insight in some of the most used tricks in the business, and I usually catch on pretty fast. But here, the director was so good at hot and cold showers, I swallowed everything... line, hook, everything. He tells time and time again in the movie that it's all fake, it's a trick, it's nothing but that. And in the meantime he convinces you that you are witnessing real magic, that he's a sorcerer instead of a magician. But the trick is what the director pulls on the audience. W hen the titles started rolling no body got up to leave. And I mean NOBODY. I was happy all the way to the car. Just glad to have been made a fool of, because really isn't that why we all go to the movies? To believe?
Alita: Battle Angel (2019)
Amazing sci-fi movie
I don't know what to say... This movie is perfect as an Action-Sci Fi movie!. Not t00 much drama. Just enough. Cool action/fighting scene. Fights are not too long. Short and sweet. I guess people who rated this so low.. they don't even like a Scifi/Action genre or don't know how to enjoy this ty pe of movie. CGI is always very smooth except at the near ending scene where they going up on the pipe. Real face of his boy friend with cy borg body looks disappointing.not neat at al.. We need a sequel!!! better.. badder!!
Drishyam (2015)
Masterpiece high level Movie In Bollywood 10/10 😍
A masterpiece. The best sout h remake ever made in bollywood. DRISHY AM REVIEW- Hell yeah, just watched the Masterpiece, gem of thriller. Wow is the only word is in mout h now for this movie. Heard a remake of national award Malayalam movie is coming in bollywood and i was just waiting like anything for this movie. Trailer didn't offered much but it was promising. Then critics reviews came which took my expectations to sky level. And finally after watching it i must say movie worths it. A rare thriller which was made to look realistic only not as filmy masala content. First half takes time to set platform, sets movie plot then 2nd half blows you away with its masterclass planning and scenes. A simple plot, a common man who is 4th std failed not much educated tries to hide his family's crime from so called educated police officers. But the content and screenplay is so realistic that it makes this simple story a masterpiece. Even a Lo ng runtime of 2 hrs 40 mins looks too tight and glues us to Our seat. W riter has done an extraordinary job, people will not forget this story in lifetime. Kudos to him and screenplay maker. Music wasn't much needed for movie, still 1 song after interval is situational which plays important role to make scene much tight. Entire star cast acted like real incident and really made me feel that its all happening in real in front of me. Ajay devgn the man who is the soul of this movie. His acting is just out of the world. Those intense eyes, innocent expressions, scary scenes and some emotional scenes as if this movie made for his acting only. Surely best performance of the year till date and i don't think someone will give better performance than him in this year at least, he deserves an award for this movie. Tabbu role is exactly half to Ajay according to runtime of movie. She did whatever expected from her role. Other star cast did fab job, each and every actor gave his best for their roles. Director Nishikant Kamat proves his skills and talent metal again here. He never left movie's grip till the end. Even the last ending scene of the movie was watchable and gives goose bumps. Hats off to him. He already had remake in hand which made direction much easier so there was no chance to make movie a crap. Overall a must watch for all. Only kids wont understand it, but ot her audience like classes, masses, youngsters and even seniors will love it. Go for this one, take 3 hrs from your life and enjoy the rare and the best thriller ever made in bollywood. Don't miss, you cant afford to miss this masterpiece. Here we have got the best movie of 2015. Last line, 'Its like,'Shawshank Redemption in bollywood. 😍
12 Years a Slave (2013)
Masterpiece cinema 😍😭😭😍
I just saw this at LFF. It is a brilliant piece of cinema. Clearly it's central theme is slavery, and the depravity human nature can so easily reach; but it has many other small moments that trigger thoughts about wider issues - the role of religion being one for example. It is violent, and in some respects awful to watch, but this is the story of Solomon Northup told truthfully. There is nothing saccharine about the way Steve McQueen presents this and that is what makes it so astonishing. You cry because what you wit ness is truly terrible, not because the violins are out and the director's tugging on your heart strings. All the acting is first rate, as is the score by Hans Zimmer. This really should be essential viewing for everyone old enough to understand it.
Manchester by the Sea (2016)
Wonderful movie, nice cinematography and good acting by Cassy Affleck
These ty pe of films don't come around that often, and for good reason. It takes focus and effort to come up with stories and the mes that touch dee per than the usual Hollywood dirge. The story-line is completely unpredictable, unlike 95% of the films out there. W hat is most intriguing about MBTS, is the way in which highly depressing the mes are kept in check with humour, intelligent scripting and a subtle feel good factor, which seems to creep in at exactly the right time. The overall feel is also kept balanced by the intricacies of the relationships between various characters. Affleck has taken his game to the next level , his character and mannerisms are completely believable -he is submerged into ty pe. As a couple of mid 40 somethings, we grew tired of the ty pical film genres some years ago. We long for films like this, and having seen many of the nominated films for this year (bafta), this one is by far the clear leader. Hacksaw ridge is just another glorification of war, predictable, overly violent and boring, silence is good OK but not special and the list goes on. Manchester by the sea deserves recognition for standing out in a sea of mediocrity
The Secret Life of Pets (2016)
😍 Fantastic movie for all ages! Everyone should watch this film!
Looking for a great movie, that's hilarious? This movie is heart warming, its a very fun watch that you can enjoy alone or with someone (turn off the light-close the blinds get your loved ones, treats and cuddle up for a great time!)- I thought this was a great film! It was so very well done from the story line and brilliantly written and quite humorous script! To the gorgeous animation that is stunningly executed. Consistently complimenting the very creatively and carefully crafted characters that you will instantly fall in love with and keep you smiling and laughing through out the film! T he cast and voicing worked well with the beautiful illustration to really brought the characters and movie to life! Ultimately bringing the whole movie home.It doesn't matter if your 5 or 50 just be happy and enjoy the simple things in life ( the things that actually matter ;) -Take Care World.
Durante la tormenta (2018)
Best Masterpiece Spanish Movie 😍😍
One of the best movie I've watched in a long time I love how Oriol Paulo took a concept that has been exploited over and over but found a way to revamp it and tell a fascinating story. T he story unfold with a series of clever revelations that kept me on the edge and smiling. The ending is particularly genius. The photography is exceptional and the acting of Lara Sendim is perfect. Overall, a great movie like everything Oriol Paulo does.
Ip Man (2008)
Chinese Kung Fu Masterpiece movie
I just discovered one of the most solid kung fu dramas I've ever watched. The movie It's about war, socialism, poverty and obviously Kung Fu. First, acting and coreographies are amazing. Pretty well done. Second, the script is quite good. Hollywood should learn something fro m here. Last, it's a great movie with hearth just using a simple but deep story. Enjoy.
Babel (2006)
superb direction, wonderful script
The film looks at relationships, from husband/wife, parent/children, brother/sister and plays around the the mes of love in adversity. The characters are all interlinked in a very random way, it's a little like 10 degrees of separation. The film is set in Morocco, Mexico, Japan and the US, and the director makes full use of the different backdrops to bring the picture alive. The characters are deep and insightful, each has a problem to face up to and the subtle, naturalistic way their issues play out make for truly emotional cinema. This is not a film about heroes, it's a film about try ing to make the right choices when your back is to the wall, and the doubts that go with this. Great movie, es pecially if you're a parent as your protective instincts will kick in at least once during this movie!
Tere Naam (2003)
Salman khan's masterpiece movie 😢😢😭
Tere naam is an amazing movie. The music is awesome it has nice melody's with nice lyrics. In your name, i have bequeathed my entire life being the main line of the title song. The story revolves around a thuggish bully who falls madly in love with a shy new girl that is the priests daughter. Saying any more would be a spoiler. Th most enjoyable salma khan movie it never bores you for even a minute and you really do feel for him. 10 out of 10 but im not sure if it really is a true love story. Brilliant acting by salman and bhoomika and some of the heartbroken scenes are soul searching! May be the best love story ever! To all those salman khan fans, this is a must see.
Mr. Nobody (2009)
Mind Blowing Masterpiece Cinema 😍
A movie that really makes you think if you actually pay attention to the end. For people who often ask them self, "W hat if I did this instead," this movie is one big, "W hat if I did this instead?" The choices we make in life, the actions we take reflect deeply with the main character who reflects on the many paths of their own life. The most important message I received from this movie was, "Some choices we make we cannot take back." For someone who might often reflect and beat themselves up about their own past this movie would really be a good thing to watch. E xtremely easy to relate. Some what hard to understand if you do not fully pay attention. I gave this movie a 10 out of 10 because something in this movie really touched part of my soul as I reflected into the writer's soul and pain given. This is now on my must watch movie list I share with my friends.
Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001)
Are you a romantic? Do you notice the little things around you in life? This movie will show you that there are more people in the world like you and me. I urge you to see thi
So today I was depressed. Challenging with my very first real crush on someone. Having all the negative thoughts on my mind thinking about confronting her and telling her my one little secret. I have never really been with a girl in my life. Actually never even really talked to a girl due to my severe anxiety. Anyway, I found this movie in my long list of unwatched movies. And i asked my friend if watching a romance movie would make me feel more de pressed and anxious. He said "100% Defiantly bro"! But I couldn't resist the attraction that this movie had on me and started watching it. I literally THANK GOD that i had the opportunity to watch this film in this turning point of my life. I cried LOU D during the last minutes of this film.I had the feeling like I was watching the story of my own life. I realized that I would nearly loose the soul of my life if I don't take my feelings and my heart serious. So I decided. I decided not to crush myself by paying attention to my negative and obsessive thoughts more than my soul and my heart calling. I wanna tell her tomorrow. Please wish me luck! And remember to listen to your heart!
The Theory of Everything (2014)
Wonderful Film
The life of a young, brilliant student gets thrown apart when he finds out that he has about two years left, as a result of a terrible, regressive disease. Decided not to give up, with the help of his future wife, he starts working on his PhD, bringing into the world some theories never heard before. Although encountering many problems along the way, especially when talking about his health, he continues to amaze the world with his research, so many people come to bring him hope or even technical help, which will allow him to communicate and ultimately aid him in his pursuit of finding an unique and simple equation which will solve everything. It's a dramatic biography of one of the most brilliant minds the world has ever seen, filled with suspense, love, friendship, struggle but also relief and success. It manages to transmit a lot of emotion, the main actor having a flawless interpretation throughout the entire movie. His performance alone makes this movie a must see, let alone its plot and characters.
Good Will Hunting (1997)
Masterpiece Story 😍
This is a screenplay, whose script was written by Ben Affleck and M att Damon and sold for $ 600,000. (They split the proceeds)I love this movie. I have seen it several times, and I still want more at the end (Isn't that what good movies do to you?) The subplots make for mini-movies of their own, es pecially the interplay between Robin Williams' character and Stellan Skarsgard's character. Damon's real life buddy Affleck plays that same buddy role in GW H, and provides the definition for true friendship. Minnie Driver is compelling, and I just love a cou ple of scenes when she and Damon are in a novelty store, and anot her where she is telling a joke in a bar with Damon, Affleck and friends. The love story which develops with Driver is very convincing, and it's "under the surface" portrayal plus input from one of our favorite characters makes for one of the best definitions of intimacy I have ever seen on film. W hen I see some of the movies in IDB's top 250, I am sad that this movie isn't in there, but that is my opinion. Torn between GW H and Rounders as Damon's best movie, though I think GW D plays to a wider audience.
Gone Girl (2014)
Amazing David Fincher psychological thriller
Gone Girl is a 2014 American psychological thriller film directed by David Fincher and adapted by Gillian Flynn from her 2012 novel of the same name. It stars Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. Set in the Midwestern United States, the film's story begins as a mystery about a man, Nick Dunne (Affleck), whose wife, Amy (Pike), has gone missing, and depicts the ensuing events that arise. In Carthage, Mo., former New York-based writer Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) and his glamorous wife Amy (Rosamund Pike) present a portrait of a blissful marriage to the public. However, when Amy goes missing on the couple's fifth wedding anniversary, Nick becomes the prime suspect in her disappearance. The resulting police pressure and media frenzy cause the Dunnes' image of a happy union to crumble, leading to tantalizing questions about who Nick and Amy truly are.
Exam (2009)
A head-scratching movie
When I first heard about this film, I knew it would be something special ; and it didn't disappoint . The premise is simple : final candidates vying for a top position in a prestigious corporation are locked in a room to do an " exam " to find the best candidate . The series of " tests " soon become more and more dangerous as they progress , moralities and ethics are challenged as the candidates become more and more desperate . Essentially the whole film's a puzzle , a riddle . The acting and plot are all top - notch , and the fact that so much tension and excited can be generated from a single location just proves that a good movie doesn't need a huge budget and dazzling , state - of - the - art special effects to tell a good and engaging story .
The King's Speech (2010)
Masterpiece Movie by Director Tom Hooper
I won't go into detail about THE KING'S SPEECH after so many reviews in the media. I just wanted to say that this is a gem of a film, a MU ST for anyone who enjoys top class British drama at its very best. The acting of the superb cast is as it should be - without fault. Colin Firth gives the performance of a lifetime and is a worthy candidate for the highest acting awards. I was also very impressed by Helena Bonham-Carter, who looks exactly like the Duchess of York, Guy Pearce, an amazing Duke of Windsor and the wonderful Geoffrey Rush, always so good in any part he plays. It is a pleasure to see that the British cinema is still producing films of this quality. The cinema was completely full and the audience was completely silent throughout the film (something that doesn't happen very often!). At the end of the showing the audience warmly applauded this masterpiece.
The Usual Suspects (1995)
Good must Watch movie
This is a great movie, lots of twists and turns. Kept you guessing till the end. I saw this movie years after it came out and was surprised that the ending was never leaked out I was very surprised to find out at the end of the movie Verbal's true identity. A lot of well known actors were in this movie. Kevin Spacey did a wonderful performance. Kevin Pollack had a few one liners that were funny- his stand up act is very good. I thought it was hilarious when Pollack called Spacey peg leg. I really enjoyed the interaction between Stephen and Benico. They have good chemistry with one another.
Predestination (2014)
High Level ScienceFiction Movie 😮
It's a paradox, within a paradox, within an alternate universe. Confused yet? That's exactly what this movie is. However, I can't deny that it was still amazing. It's basically Jane, little Jane, fizzle bomber, etc. But they're all the same person!! Talk about mind-blowing!! You really need to pay attention in this one. It was deep, emotional, and definitely weird at times. But it is also a very intelligent and well scripted movie. I have never seen anything like it. I would definitely recommend watching at 1least once. Or may be twice in case you need to wrap your head around all of the twists and turns and craziness.
Relatos salvajes (2014)
Nice Movie Making
This is an excellent piece that will entertain you from the very first second to the last. I am looking forward to seeing this movie again with someone that would appreciate it. While it is completely in Argentine Spanish (which is great for me as I am a fluent Spanish-speaker) it has subtitles which are excellent. The combination of acting and story are truly magnificent. Comparing this movie to a Tarantino film is inaccurate, however, this is better than Tarantino. Tarantino's films are mostly satirical. T here is no satire in this movie.
La cara oculta (2011)
Brilliant Colombian Cinema
Something like this could rarely be made in Hollywood. The plot is actually original and brilliantly executed, unlike modern American movies. It works as a psychological thriller, mystery and horror. Spanish cinematography is one of the best in the entire world. Sure, they tend to make strange and weird movies, but it happens that I enjoy watching such films. One thinks while watching, nothing is served on a plate like in American movies, so one feels engaged while watching, not disconnected and one cares what will happen to the characters. Everything is top notch in this film. The best part is the ambiguous ending, one is left wondering how it will all resolve and how would one behave in similar situation. The movie questions one's actions and a moral compass, whether any body in the story has one or not. This will probably be remade in Hollywood, but it won't outdo this Spanish masterpiece.
Rain Man (1988)
One of the best films of the Dustin Hoffman & Tom Cruise are a perfect duo 😍
Rain Man is a moving story about two brothers, one a selfish yuppie named Charlie Babbitt who cares only about the importance of money and the other named Ray mond who is a autistic and doesn't know anything about the importance of money. Charlie realizes that his father left three million dollars to Ray mond and little to him, as he also realizes Ray momd is his brother! Charlie kidnaps Ray mond from his residential home and begins a long journey and discovery that will forever change both their lives. Rain Man is a completely moving, emotional, funny, and unforgettable movie. Dustin Hoffman is one of my favorite actors and plays his most memorable role as well as Tom Cruise, who gives a great performance that helped a lot in launching most of his career. The direction by Barry Levinson is stunning and of course, his best yet. Overall, the film is a timeless classic that moves me in every way. This is definitely one of the best films of the 80's and one of my all time favorites. Yea, definitely, definitely, recommend it!
