The Filthy Frank Show (2011)
WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME?
I originally came for the memes, but now I have just one thing to say about this beautiful show and our beloved Papa Franku: WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME? God left me unfinished.
The Boys (2019)
Diabolical
The best superhero show out there. It's a realistic and refreshing take on superheros, but also idealization of people in general and corporate virtue signalling. The very first episode already hits like a train. From then on, it's an exciting and addictive ride. Only downside is that you will never see Marvel, DC and co with the same (innocent) eyes again.
Old (2021)
Incredible
It is incredible that someone who produced a piece like "Split" with a believable character having more than 20 personalities could release such nonsense. The dialogues are really, REALLY off, reminding me of the dialogues in "the room" but without the unintentional comedy. The whole movie is almost two hours of people screaming at different events (way too many, so the movie seems overloaded with "horror" and none of these events has any potential to scare the viewer) finished by a weird, not at all believable explanation of what happened. Don't waste your time watching this, it is the worst movie I've seen in a long time.
Ask Tesadüfleri Sever (2011)
(Almost) all aspects unsatisfying
I was tricked by the good imdb score of this movie to watch it. Well, it was 2 wasted hours of my life I will not get back.
The storyline is highly predictable and, to say the least, cringeworthy. The characters are almost throughout unlikeable, even the ones supposed to attract sympathy from the viewer. That gives the movie a weird spin, as it fails to evoke the emotions it intends to trigger. It turns into a ridiculous soap opera without any meaning.
The music is too loud and obtrusive. The sets do not make a realistic impression and are too overcrowded with wooden actors to be taken seriously.
The only good thing I can say is that the main character, a wicked woman who cheated her boyfriend while he was on a business trip, dies in the end, which creates an odd satisfaction in the viewer (the director certainly wanted to make the ending sad but failed). That's why I put 2 stars.
