Govinda Naam Mera (2022)
Superb entertainer. Surprisingly good.
Govinda naam mera is a surprise package. Watched it with least expectation but it went on to become a great entertainer. Had fun watching a movie after so long. Shashank Khaitan's crisp & tight screenplay was tremendously engaging, though his cameo wasn't. The story is a winner with all its twists and turns. But the biggest takeaway from the movie was Vicky Kaushal, such an effortless actor with an incredible comic timing, the guy is a sheer entertainer. He should definitely try this genre more. Thank God Varun Dhawan was not selected for this role. Special mentions Amey Wagh, Bhumi Pednekar, Daya & Tripti. Kiara Advani's dialogue delivery was a bit eerie. Rest it's a Great watch altogether!
Better Call Saul: Rock and Hard Place (2022)
Mindblown!!!
What an episode! So well written.. OMG..
One of the best scenes in terms of writing, direction and acting I have ever seen. Wow!
Still recovering from it..!
The Empire (2021)
VISUALLY SCINTILLATING!! Breathtaking performances!!
India's answer to Game of Thrones. Such a great production. Visually stunning with impactful performances. Not a single big name in the cast yet a promising web series. Great watch!
Young Sheldon (2017)
Young Sheldon made me watch Big Bang theory
I never watched Big Bang theory before. But after watching Young Sheldon I went onto watch it and I am now hooked to it. There are very few happy shows which are as good as Young Sheldon. Every character is engaging and interesting. Kudos to the writers and the actors! Looking forward to further seasons
Paatal Lok (2020)
Jaideep Ahlawat take a bow
Paatal Lok is shocking real, intensely engaging, mind bending, eye opening, hammering, thrilling and relatable all at the same time. Story superb, screenplay superb, dialogues superp, acting superb, edit superb, direction superb. It is one of the best series of 2020. Money well spent by Anushka Sharma and the Clean Slate team. This is the type of content which the world deserves to see coming from India. I hope other OTTs learn from this. Netflix are you listening!!
Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer (2019)
Shockingly intensified experience.. Great presentation.. Disturbingly well made..
I don't know how I was so late to watch this one. I was familiar with the case of Luka Magnotta in the past. But was unaware of the shocking revelations made in this docu series. Extremely well sequenced and well produced content. I was hooked throughout. Must watch.
Mrs. Serial Killer (2020)
Waste of time.. Pathetic direction and acting..
I had high hopes from Shirish Kunder after the short film Kriti. But my oh my, I was so wrong. Wasted such a good plot. Jacqueline as usual was a huge disappointment. Overacting on a different level, and that accent gets so annoying. Manoj Bajpai was also not directed well. And on top of all I have no idea why they used Asoka movies 'Roshni se' song's instrumental as a background score. Indian content on Netflix is getting pathetic day by day, making a bad impression all over. Even after having abundant talent in our country.
