Gunda (1998)
An experience everybody should have.
This is definitely one of the movies ever. The actors acted, the director directed, the screenplayer screenplayed, and the writer.
In all seriousness though. The plot is thick as dosa batter, with lumps of suspense broiling within. What does Bulla keep Khulla? It's not what you think it is. Every single character is memorable including the nameless ones simply for the reverse quick-time action sequences. Newtonian physics? Frick outta here. Einsteinian physics? Perhaps.
In even more seriousness though, watch this with (a) friend(s) / high on drugs to enjoy this. Otherwise this is an eye-gouger.
Biswa Kalyan Rath: Biswa Mast Aadmi (2017)
The Best Stand-up special.
Title says it all. Not a single moment of dullness, right from the beginning. Very intelligent writing.
The Room (2003)
Not your regular bad movie.
This is not a movie you watch for the acting, the writing, the cinematography, the screenplay, or the score.
You watch this to laugh at its writing, cinematography, th screenplay, the writing and its score.
You watch this while you're 40% drunk and would laugh more at dumbass situations rather than actual jokes.
You watch this to better appreciate The Disaster Artist, the Movie about the making of this movie, which was Oscar nominated.
And most importantly, you watch this for Tommy Wiseau. The Legend. The Genius. The Most meta-comedian in Hollywood. You would hardly find any movies that are meta-funny these days. Just go ahead and watch it, and watch the Disaster Artist next.
