I might never had laughed this hard this year. It's a great film with excellent, unexpected, creative, scenes of comedy. In the first part, Laurel and Hardy are working at the horn department until Hardy has a mental breakdown because of the excessive horn noise. Then Stan takes Ollie is taken home with a comical engine problem. Ollie is sick and Stan "treats" him and blames the plumbers because of the misplaced objects and their functions in the complex! Then he comically calls a doctor to treat poor Ollie. After some comical treatment, the doctor comes to the conclusion that Ollie has a severe case of "hornophobia", almost "hornomania"! After the treatment Stan gives Ollie the idea to go to a therapeutic boat trip, but their plans delay after the kitchen explodes and Ollie falls off the building. As they embark on their boat trip aboard the ill-fated vessel "Prickly Heat," unforeseen events ensue, including the unwelcome presence of an escaped convict named Nick Grainger. With the goat they brought along inadvertently setting the boat adrift and Nick taking control of the situation, Stan and Ollie find themselves at the mercy of the criminal's whims. In a turn of events, Stan's trombone playing inadvertently triggers Ollie's uncontrollable rage, leading to a confrontation with Nick. Ultimately, Stan's musical intervention aids in subduing the criminal, albeit with unforeseen consequences as the police arrive. Despite Stan's attempts to demonstrate the trombone's role in calming Ollie, their efforts backfire spectacularly, resulting in their arrest and incarceration alongside Nick. Nothing to say no more, just comedy gold. 11/10.
