I usually like Ellie Kemper in her roles but this one was one of her worst.
The movie in all was a total crapfest. The director tried to do a "Home Alone" movie but failed miserably.
There was several references to the Alone Home movie with Macauley which just made it even worse. No originality at all.
Avoid this one.
