The Suze Orman Show (2002)
If You Want To Get Serious About Your Finances This is The Show
I must start by saying I never knew this show or her even existed until a few months ago as I was going through the channels on the TV and just happened to stumble across it on a late Saturday evening here where I live and have been hooked ever since. I now watch this every Saturday evening. Suze's show really makes you stop and think where you are financially at your age and gives really sound, great advice on what to do if you're not doing so well or if you are doing pretty good to continue or even do better. I've learned more about savings/credit/and retirement just by watching one episode of her show than I've learned anywhere else. Just a real eye opener of a show to get on track with our finances. So, as my title says... If you want to get serious about your finances, get out of debt and have some for real savings, well this is definitely the show for you. I rate this a 10 out of 10 without even having to think about it. I just think she is wonderful when it comes to this and even plan on purchasing one of her books!

Not Sure How I Missed This One
I must start by saying that I'm a little embarrassed to say that I'd never even heard of this show until just a few months ago as I was searching on the internet for something new to add to my DVD collection and I just happened to come across this and have all the seasons on DVD. Even though this show is geared towards just leaving high school and beginning the college life as I'm in my late 30's now and while I went to college I never moved that far away from home or lived with anyone (college dorm), this show still sucked me right in from the very beginning as I found it very interesting that someone (Felicity) would follow a guy that she went to high school with and never talked until graduation day just because of something he wrote to her in her yearbook and for awhile give up her dream of becoming a doctor. Also watching her go through her pressures as she was a lost soul trying to find her way and her parents especially dad always on her about being a doctor and how she was wasting her life. The only people I'd heard of was Kerri Russell, Jennifer Garner, and of course the late John Ritter which by the way I don't recall seeing his name anywhere as a guest star which I found sad while he was only in a few episodes I thought he did a wonderful job playing Ben's dad as the others were new to me but enjoyed them all especially Amanda Foreman(Megan)and Javier. I thought they were hilarious. The only things I didn't like about this show is after awhile the love triangle between Felicity/Ben/Noel started to grate on my last nerve as I thought there was way too much cheating. Was getting a little nauseating. I'm not condoning the Felicity character at all but just seemed like when Ben cheated especially getting the Lauren lady pregnant, everything was just going to be okay and Felicity was suppose to "sweep it under the rug" so to speak and they were just suppose to go on. Just seemed so double-standard to me that when she cheated he would barely look at her let alone talk to her for awhile. They would no more than supposedly "break up" and then be with someone else it seemed like within a second after doing so. Oh and then they'd be back together again. I also think the Elena character could of been handled better as they kill her off and then that is not explained (first she's dead and then she's not)unless you just happen to watch a bonus segment on the DVD. I understand from watching the bonus material that they were under time pressures as they weren't sure if they were going to do 17 or 22 episodes but I still think it could of been handled better. Maybe should of left out some of the cheating scenes? Overall I give it 8 out of 10 stars as I enjoyed it very much even though as I mentioned it's geared towards the college life but if you're an older audience like myself, I think you could still enjoy this as it can take you back in time as that is an awkward time in most people's lives, college or not as you still have to find your way in this world.
