Fingers
The first minute of Fingers.
Screenings include Kansas City Film Fest, Short Attention Span Digital Video Festival 7, ISFF Detmold (Germany), Griffon International Film Festival, and Echotrope.
Paul addresses the loss of his index finger by withdrawing into a kaleidoscope of memories involving tickles, picked noses, and unforgiving elevator buttons.
Fingers is a visual puzzle of sorts, a literal examination of the many subtle, unique ways we use anatomy and the various circumstances surrounding its use. On the other hand, the story is a fantastical allegory that speaks broadly to the sense of loss regarding the departure of cherished people and things.
