Great idea! Awful result... I didn't feel for any of the characters. I need that when I watch a movie.

No... Just... NO... I mean NOOOOOOOOO! There were three good actors (Tops) and the rest was awfully bad. Typical cast: Nice guy, cool chick everyone drools over (how very "realistic" --') and the baddie. It didn't make sense sometimes. The movie was so ridiculous that its outtakes weren't funny anymore. Please don't do this to yourself. Unless you want to have a good laugh.

4. The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010)

PG | 109 min | Action, Adventure, Family

46 Metascore

A protege of the magician Merlin must train his teacher's successor - an introverted but resourceful physics prodigy - in the art of sorcery to prevent the return of Morgana le Fay.

Director: Jon Turteltaub | Stars: Nicolas Cage, Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer

Votes: 170,043 | Gross: $63.15M

Great idea, bad result just as in Gamer. I like Nicolas Cage, but he didn't fit to this role. Other than that Jay Baruchel got on my nerves by not behaving like a normal person for a single moment in the movie. His exaggeratedly clumsy attitude and his voice didn't help a bit. Teresa Palmer and him had no chemistry at all. The guys were losers (except for Nick, of course) and the chick was "hot" as always. Alfred Molina was the only person well cast. He did a perfect performance in his role.

5. Chernobyl Diaries (2012)

Director: Bradley Parker | Stars: Jesse McCartney, Jonathan Sadowski, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips

Votes: 68,647 | Gross: $18.12M

I haven't actually seen the movie yet. But as far as I'm getting it - it's about a group of American Teenagers being hunted down by Chernobyl Victims. Portraying these victims as monsters is just awful and disrespectful.

6. Clash of the Titans (2010)

PG-13 | 106 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

39 Metascore

Perseus, a demigod and the son of Zeus, battles the minions of Hades and the Underworld in order to stop them from conquering Olympus and Earth.

Director: Louis Leterrier | Stars: Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Flemyng

Votes: 292,807 | Gross: $163.21M

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. It was one of those "meh" movies.

7. Dear John (I) (2010)

PG-13 | 108 min | Drama, Romance, War

43 Metascore

A romantic drama about a soldier who falls for a conservative college student while he's home on leave.

Director: Lasse Hallström | Stars: Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried, Richard Jenkins, Henry Thomas

Votes: 157,807 | Gross: $80.01M

I normally like Sparks Novels and the movies made of them, but this one started out well and then became really boring.

8. The Reader (2008)

R | 124 min | Drama, Mystery, Romance

58 Metascore

Post-WWII Germany: Nearly a decade after his affair with an older woman came to a mysterious end, law student Michael Berg re-encounters his former lover as she defends herself in a war-crime trial.

Votes: 260,003 | Gross: $34.19M

For people who read the book, of course they'll love the movie. I've heard it's a good adaption. I haven't read the book, but seen the movie. To me it was boring and somewhat pointless. I didn't feel with the characters.
