The Holy Trinity of Geek Directors

These are the three directors that I think of as the Trinity of Geekdom. Those of you that are total geeks (like myself) know what I am talking about. Whenever a fantasy/ science-fiction movie comes out with one of these people attached, we automatically know that this movie will be good.

1. Joss Whedon

Came up with the show Firefly (which is criminally underrated) and has now been tasked with directing the Avengers movie.

2. Peter Jackson

Took three of the best books of all time and turned them into (at least I think) three of the best movies of all time. He also got us to take fantasy movies seriously, until Eragon and In the Name of the King came along and *beep* it all up.

3. Christopher Nolan
