When this movie was released, I did not bother to watch it. I did not thought of it as a good movie. Our teacher let us watch this in our classroom. It was a good movie after all. A very interesting movie. And one more thing, I actually found out that this movie was based on a japanese game, which title/name is also Silent Hill.
