1. Daniel Craig

Actor | Casino Royale

One of the British theatre's most famous faces, Daniel Craig, who waited tables as a struggling teenage actor with the National Youth Theatre, has gone on to star as James Bond in Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015) and No Time to Die (2021).

He was born ...

The best 007 by far , bringing the cold , nasty womanizing hit-man from the books into the 21st century and giving him he cynical humor and rugged charm from the original films , a great performance all round !

2. Roger Moore

Actor | Moonraker

Roger Moore will perhaps always be remembered as the man who replaced Sean Connery in the James Bond series, arguably something he never lived down.

Roger George Moore was born on October 14, 1927 in Stockwell, London, England, the son of Lillian (Pope) and George Alfred Moore, a policeman. His ...

The Bond that many either love of despise however More is by far the smoothest , witty and suavest of all the Bonds however his flaw was that he wasn't brutish enough in a fist fight , whilst very effective looking with a firearm or a girl in his hands he wasn't quite the tough guy that the series needed as it progressed into the eighties and as a result many darker gritty films such as "A View To A Kill" and " For Your Eyes Only" became much more campy to say nothing of the fact Moore looked way to old by the time he was in his fifth film.

3. Timothy Dalton

Actor | The Living Daylights

At a consistently lean 6' 2", green-eyed Timothy Dalton may very well be one of the last of the dying breed of swashbuckling, classically trained Shakespearean actors who have forged simultaneous successful careers in theater, television and film. He has been comparison-shopped roundly for stepping...

A change that the series needed in the eighties , dark , handsome with a stern voice he was the right man for the job however maybe his performance was too much the opposite of Moore , Dalton traded all the charm and wit for pure hardness which whilst closer to the books character lacked the soft touch of humor and charm that Craig gave to him.

4. Sean Connery

Actor | The Rock

The tall, handsome and muscular Scottish actor Sean Connery is best known as the original actor to portray James Bond in the hugely successful movie franchise, starring in seven films between 1962 and 1983. Some believed that such a career-defining role might leave him unable to escape it, but he ...

The man who set the image indeed however he sill did leave much to be desired in my opinion , somehow he wasn't very effective at delivering the one liners and his voice wasn't at all what was needed , whilst he was very very impressive looking and is very convincing in all the fights that 007 has ( he would have made it at number 2 however Roger Moore's first performances as 007 are better on the whole )

5. George Lazenby

Actor | On Her Majesty's Secret Service

George Robert Lazenby was born September 5, 1939 in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia, to Sheila Joan (Bodel) and George Edward Lazenby. He moved to London, England in 1964, after serving in the Australian Army. Before becoming an actor, he worked as an auto mechanic, used car salesman, prestige...

Little to say but very much the same as Connery apart from the voice but he was in one of the best films in the series , however his performance in this one film is all i have to judge .

6. Pierce Brosnan

Actor | The World Is Not Enough

Pierce Brendan Brosnan was born in Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland, to May (Smith), a nurse, and Thomas Brosnan, a carpenter. He lived in Navan, County Meath, until he moved to England, UK, at an early age (thus explaining his ability to play men from both backgrounds convincingly). His father left...

Wooden humor , and irritating voice , more of a Rambo Bond .... not the way he should be and ended up making some of the latter Bond films more over the top and absurd. As i said before a cardboard cutout of any of the other actors would have given more organic performances.
