Despite what people say, I love what Burton did with the character. The aesthetic of this film is brilliant, and it evokes the essence of Alan Moore and Frank Miller comics extremely well. This was the perfect gateway into the Nolan installments.

My favorite film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. An excellent origin story which effectively depicts the character as he's portrayed in the comics.
