After Gene Kelly's death of a stroke he got the most attention in New York and everyone payed their respects to such a legendary dancer, actor, director and cherographer!

Jimmy Stewart is my hero. None of his movies are bad. His best movies are It's a Wonderful Life, Mr.Smith Goes to Washington and Rear Window. He won one Oscar for The Philadelphia Story and won against his friend Henry Fonda for the Grapes of Wrath. But Jimmy was expecting Henry Fonda to win the Academy Award for best actor. He was also the highest ranked actor in Hollywood. After his death in 1997 after suffering a heart attack, all of Hollywood was in massive sadness because of the loss of a massive American Hero.

Henry Fonda is one of the greatest Hollywood actors of all time. His career spanned 50 years. He is holding the the record for the longest gap between Oscar Nominations for his brilliant performances in The Grapes of Wrath and On Golden Pond. He lost to his really good friend Jimmy Stewart for The Philadelphia Story. His movie 12 Angry Men gained a Best Picture Nomination but unfortunately lost to the war drama The Bridge on the River Kwai. In my opinion 12 Angry Men should've took the big prize. His only Oscar win was for his amazing performance in On Golden Pond with his daughter Jane Fonda and actress Katherine Hepburn. As Henry's health was faultering, his best friend Jimmy Stewart visited him every single day as his wife Shirley says. Henry Fonda died on August 12th 1982 from heart disease caused by a spread of prostate cancer throughout his body. He has a massive legacy that will live on forever!
