Welcome to my all-new 2013 Hollywood's Hottest Commodities list. This is my sneak peak into who is at the top of Hollywood's A-list. Last year, Jennifer Lawrence had a strong year and took the top spot. Will she repeat? If not, who will replace her??? Who made the list? Who fell short? Those answers will be revealed and much more! (As usual, this list is a work in progress. I'll add more actresses in the future)

1. Jennifer Lawrence

Actress | The Hunger Games

As the highest-paid actress in the world in 2015 and 2016, and with her films grossing over $5.5 billion worldwide, Jennifer Lawrence is often cited as the most successful actress of her generation. She is also the first person born in the 1990s to have won an acting Oscar.

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence...

After a strong year where she was featured in not one, but two hit movies... and one that will never be mentioned here; Jennifer has ended the year strong with an Academy Award Nom for her performance in Silver's Linings Playbook. And deserving so, she totally owned that character. Well, Ms. Lawrence will follow that up with Catching Fire (how appropriate) and First Class 2. Be honest, was there any doubt Jennifer Lawrence wouldn't be my choice for number 1?

2. Anne Hathaway

Actress | Les Misérables

Anne Jacqueline Hathaway was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Kate McCauley Hathaway, an actress, and Gerald T. Hathaway, a lawyer, both originally from Philadelphia. She is of mostly Irish descent, along with English, German, and French. Her first major role came in the short-lived television series ...

Jennifer Lawrence wasn't the only one who had a predominantly strong year. If there ever was a close second, it would be Anne Hathaway. While, I still prefer Michelle Pfeiffer's interpretation of Cat Woman, Anne Hathaway's version was terrific in its own right. After a strong performance in Dark Knight Rises, Anne followed that with a emotionally powerful one in Les Miserables. A performance that garnered her an Oscar nod. And though Ms. Hathaway's slate of films seem a bit non-existent for 2013, look for her to return to the CGI world for Rio 2 in 2014.

3. Jessica Chastain

Actress | Zero Dark Thirty

Jessica Michelle Chastain was born in Sacramento, California, and was raised in a middle-class household in a Northern California suburb. Her mother, Jerri Chastain, is a vegan chef whose family is originally from Kansas, and her stepfather is a fireman. She discovered dance at the age of nine and ...

Jessica is climbing the A-list ladder expeditiously with brilliant performances in The Help, Take Shelter and now Zero Dark Thirty, which of course she is now up for Best Actress. Look for Jessica to deep her big toe into the Horror genre waters with Mama.

4. Amy Adams

Actress | Arrival

Amy Lou Adams was born in Vicenza, Veneto, Italy, to American parents, Kathryn (Hicken) and Richard Kent Adams, a U.S. serviceman who was stationed at Caserma Ederle in Italy at the time. She was raised in a Mormon family of seven children in Castle Rock, Colorado, and has English, as well as ...

Amy Adams is one of my favorite actresses. She has been constantly good in with the roles she's been given -- The Fighter, Trouble with the Curve and now The Master; which she is currently up for Best Supporting Actress. Amy isn't about to rest on her laurels in 2013, you'll see her this summer in Zach Synder's Man of Steel.
