The rich Collins family of Collinsport, Maine is tormented by strange occurrences.

Stars: Jonathan Frid, Grayson Hall, Alexandra Isles, Nancy Barrett

Votes: 5,430

A low budget soap with flimsy sets, bad special effects and melodramatic music.....BUT surprisingly this show is terrific. The Story lines are amazing, acting is superb and very very suspenseful. If you give it a chance like watch at least 10 to 20 episodes I guarantee you will be hooked. This is DEFINITELY MY NUMBER 1 SHOW EVER!!!! I HIGHLY suggest this excellent soap opera to anyone who loves the supernatural!

Mama's Family originated with Thelma "Mama" Harper, and her younger sister Fran living together in Mama's house.

Votes: 6,726

I wouldn't suggest this sitcom for younger children, but teenagers and their parents and grandparents will love the daily antics of this dysfunctional Midwestern family. If you ever had problems with your relatives, watch the Harper Family and you'll laugh your troubles away or at least thank God it's not your family!

Votes: 47,242

This comedy series broke the mold of television. Men, women, young and old can appreciate this legendary sitcom, not something most people would think they'd watch or even like but this gut-busting comedy is something that is truly golden!!!!! TEN STARS!!!!!!!

4. 227 (1985–1990)

TV-PG | 30 min | Comedy

This series took place in an apartment building numbered 227. The cast would frequently be sitting outside on a large set of stone stairs, involved in some discussion that would unfold into the weekly plotline.

Stars: Helen Martin, Marla Gibbs, Hal Williams, Alaina Reed-Hall

Votes: 3,990

This is a positive black sitcom, that shows that regular hard working middle class families can live in an apartment building and it doesn't have to be high class or the ghetto. These are typical ordinary people who live in a nice neighborhood and a loving building. A good family show for people everywhere!!!! classic comedy that's funny but yet very underrated.

5. Designing Women (1986–1993)

TV-PG | 30 min | Comedy

The misadventures of four women and their handyman running a design firm in Atlanta, Georgia.

Stars: Delta Burke, Dixie Carter, Annie Potts, Meshach Taylor

Votes: 7,021

A sophisticated sitcom that honors femininity and southern charm, a group of strong willed business women who share opinions much deeper than just sex and relationship. These women tackle huge social issues and were not shy about voicing their opinions and making you laugh. A classy southern sitcom that's always in style.

I don't watch this show all the time but, because it is such a hilarious and well written series, I had no choice but to add it to my list. With a remarkable cast and side-splitting physical comedy this is a series that comes recommended in my book!

9. Sex and the City (1998–2004)

Another feminine series, it glorifies the sexuality of women in a positive light, which isn't easy to do in the media. I found this show to be clever, witty, accurate and endlessly funny, AMAZING CAST and satisfying story plots, a definite YES!!!!!! VERY REALISTIC!

A sexy supernatural series, with cool special affects and entertaining episodes. It isn't the best supernatural series I have ever seen, but it is entertaining, if your tired and wanna binge watch something that isnt to complicated to follow, "CHARMED" WILL ABSOLUTELY ENTERTAIN YOU!!!! FIVE STARS

This series was an attempt to replace "Living Single", and at first I didn't think this show was gonna make it, but oddly enough this became a legendary show of its own. Although its main cast is black women, the writing is universal, the stories and episodes are left on great cliffhangers, a bit more realistic than most sitcoms!!!! FIVE STARS

30 min | Comedy, Drama

A faded singer decides to reopen her hotel's lounge.

Stars: Whoopi Goldberg, Wren T. Brown, Elizabeth Regen, Omid Djalili

30 min | Comedy

A look at the lives of four women who work at a Manhattan real estate office.

This show was sort of a modern day replacement for "Designing Women", it didn't last long but still and all this was a pretty good show, some really funny episodes. The set design is terrific, wardrobe is fabulous and Gail O'Grady, Sofia Vergara and Nicole Sullivan really make this show. It's a light tone comedy, personally I think it should have lasted a few more seasons to see if the show had legs!!!!

Votes: 2,866

This show is similar to "Lipstick Jungle" all about powerful business women in New York, but for some reason I liked this show better. I love Lucy Lui and Miranda Otto's characters, they are the reasons I even watched this program. Very uplifting to women and fashionable and confident series that will influence and encourage women, its a good series to have on your shelf to watch from time to time, like a good movie you havent seen in a while

Stars: Britt Robertson, Thomas Dekker, Phoebe Tonkin, Shelley Hennig

Votes: 48,815

A short lived teen drama that should have lasted a lot longer than it did. The special affects are out of this world and the plots are full of twist and the writers are not afraid to take risk! Even though it wasn't on long, I still suggest this show....Its very entertaining and full of suspense and drama!

This shows title and main focus was the reason behind its quick cancellation, but it is totally HILARIOUS with a few realistic moments and life learning lessons. I HIGHLY SUGGEST this amazing show! I guarantee it is a standout series!

Votes: 3,850

This show was said to be similar to Revenge and Scandal, but I actually got really attached to this show. It shouldn't have been cancelled, Meagan Good, Victor Garber and the rest of the cast was terrific in their roles. Full of Action and Soapy Suspense!

21. Mistresses (I) (2013–2016)

Follows the scandalous lives of a group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery as they brave the turbulent journey together.

Stars: Alyssa Milano, Jes Macallan, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim

This series is like a good summer romance novel, filled with suspense and sexy love scenes. Its a definetly guilty pleasure once you start you can stop and Of Course I love Alyssa Milano (Charmed) and Yunjin Kim (Lost).
