Now my choices for who should make this movie if it were to be made.

1. Tim Burton

Producer | Edward Scissorhands

Timothy Walter Burton was born in Burbank, California, to Jean Rae (Erickson), who owned a cat-themed gift shop, and William Reed Burton, who worked for the Burbank Park and Recreation Department. He spent most of his childhood as a recluse, drawing cartoons, and watching old movies (he was ...

Director. IT'S TIM BURTON! DO I HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING?! He's got the kind of mind that can make this series come to life!

2. Stephen Chow

Actor | Kung fu

Stephen Chow was the only boy of his family, and has grown up as a Bruce Lee fan and a martial arts addict. His career started on TV, where he presented a children show ( "430 Space Shuttle" (1983)) and started becoming popular. He got some supporting roles, after that, and won the Taiwanese Golden...

Producer. I refuse to believe he did anything for Dragonball Evolution, because I would have detected effort. From what he can do with in films like Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle, I think he could do great with One Piece.

3. Danny Elfman

Music_department | The Nightmare Before Christmas

As Danny Elfman was growing up in the Los Angeles area, he was largely unaware of his talent for composing. It wasn't until the early 1970s that Danny and his older brother Richard Elfman started a musical troupe while in Paris; the group "Mystic Knights of Oingo-Boingo" was created for Richard's ...

Composer. Got Burton, might as well throw in Elfman.

4. Steve Oedekerk

Writer | Kung Pow: Enter the Fist

Steve Oedekerk, the Academy Award nominated multi-hyphenate, has built an extraordinary career, experiencing vast success in writing, directing, producing, acting, stand-up comedy and computer generated animation. He has written and directed films that have grossed over $1.9 billion in worldwide ...

Writer. The man created Gopher-chucks. It's that kind of crazy that's needed for One Piece. In fact, if he wrote in a scene where Luffy fights someone with Gopher-chucks, that would just make the movie for me.
