I used to like Batman as a kid and watching it again on my 30th birthday I gained a further appreciation of the movie and it's now my favourite Batman movie of all time. Michael Keaton is my favourite Batman, and Jack Nicholson made an awesome Joker.
2. Batman Returns (1992)

While Batman deals with a deformed man calling himself the Penguin wreaking havoc across Gotham with the help of a cruel businessman, a female employee of the latter becomes the Catwoman with her own vendetta.

Votes: 327,637 | Gross: $162.83M
Another childhood favourite. Great story and great villains. This was a big deal watching this as a kid given it was M rated. I'm surprised McDonald's promoted this movie.

When the menace known as the Joker wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, Batman must accept one of the greatest psychological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice.

Votes: 2,872,623 | Gross: $534.86M
The best Batman movie in The Dark Knight trilogy.
4. Batman Begins (2005)

Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale breathe new life into the Batman franchise and erases the bad memories of Batman and Robin.

Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman
Votes: 1,828,618 | Gross: $448.14M
Most movies in a trilogy don't live up to the hype, but The Dark Knight Rises was a top movie.
6. Batman Forever (1995)
PG-13 | 121 min | Action, Adventure
Batman must battle former district attorney Harvey Dent, who is now Two-Face and Edward Nygma, The Riddler with help from an amorous psychologist and a young circus acrobat who becomes his sidekick, Robin.
Director: Joel Schumacher | Stars: Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman
Votes: 266,670 | Gross: $184.03M
The first Batman movie that I saw at the cinema back in 1995 and I still think Batman Forever was great fun. I liked Val Kilmer as Batman and Chris O Donnell as Robin. Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones had a lot of fun as The Riddler and Two Face respectively even though they came off as campy.
7. Batman: The Movie (1966)

The Dynamic Duo faces four supervillains who plan to hold the world for ransom with the help of a secret invention that instantly dehydrates people.
Director: Leslie H. Martinson | Stars: Adam West, Burt Ward, Lee Meriwether, Cesar Romero
Votes: 35,811
I liked this movie as a little kid. I even liked the TV show as a little kid. It's camp and very corny, but at least it's way better than Batman and Robin which I will sink the boot into below...
8. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
PG-13 | 151 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi
Batman is manipulated by Lex Luthor to fear Superman. Superman´s existence is meanwhile dividing the world and he is framed for murder during an international crisis. The heroes clash and force the neutral Wonder Woman to reemerge.
Director: Zack Snyder | Stars: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg
Votes: 752,673 | Gross: $330.36M
Like it or hate it, it's still enjoyable. Ben Affleck did well as the caped crusader but I don't necessarily rate him that high.
9. The Batman (2022)
PG-13 | 176 min | Action, Crime, Drama
When a sadistic serial killer begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city's hidden corruption and question his family's involvement.
Director: Matt Reeves | Stars: Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell
Votes: 787,820 | Gross: $369.35M
The Batman blew everything out of the water. There were question marks over Robert Pattinson's casting but his take on Batman/Bruce Wayne was incredible. It was a bit overlong and very bleak but well worth it.
10. Justice League (2017)

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his new-found ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.
Director: Zack Snyder | Stars: Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller
Votes: 478,784 | Gross: $229.02M
The movie was a disappointment. No wonder it didn't do too well at the box office and failed to live up to all the hype. It only got better when Superman returned.
11. Batman & Robin (1997)
PG-13 | 125 min | Action, Sci-Fi
Batman and Robin try to keep their relationship together even as they must stop Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy from freezing Gotham City.
Director: Joel Schumacher | Stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Uma Thurman
Votes: 268,217 | Gross: $107.33M
The worst Batman movie in history. The worst sequel in movie history. Also one of the worst movies in history. George Clooney did not make a good Batman. They could have chosen ANYONE but Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr Freeze. The entire screenplay was poor. The only redeeming feature was the Smashing Pumpkins song The end is the beginning is the end. I liked that song as a 13 year old.
