The main reason I prefer this movie over Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is because of the beginning where The Terminator (1984) is referenced & scenes from it are slightly altered.

#1 & my favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movie of all time.
The only other time I saw him play a bad guy (aside from Batman & Robin & this, I can't think of any other movies where he was a bad guy) & this was his best 1 by far.
The (original) T-800 Terminator was a far better role than Mr. Freeze.
This T-800 didn't take (BEEP) from anybody & he really didn't give 2 (BEEP)s who (I'm talking innocent people) got caught in the crossfire, all he cared about was achieving his goal, no matter what it took or who he had to kill to accomplish it.
None of the other T-800 Terminators (also played by Arnold Schwarzenegger except for Terminator Salvation where they used CGI effects to put his face over a body double which was also done with the original T-800 that appeared in Terminator Genisys) were like that, but to be fair, they were captured & reprogrammed to protect certain humans, rather than to kill humans, while this 1 still had his original programming from Skynet.
