Terrible Documentaries

by RevengeServedCOLD | created - 09 Feb 2015 | updated - 09 Feb 2015 | Public

Either by faults in research or lack of facts, these documentaries are a waste of time. Some are deliberately misleading, others lack the ethical standards expected of a documentary filmmaker.

Entertaining, but proven to be based on false data. It has merit as good eating propaganda, however it should not be watched for any more than amusement.

Outdated videos, shock footage, grossly exaggerated claims. This supposed documentary has it all. I understand the need people have to get a personally felt opinion across, but this film pushes the boundaries simply to sway opinion without any basis in consistent facts.

We do need to look at treatment of our animals with a critical eye, but there is enough evidence that can be shown to help create a better system without turning people off when they see something being blatantly distorted to further the cause.

This film does more harm than good.

6. Quiet Riot: Well Now You're Here, There's No Way Back (2014)

Not Rated | 104 min | Documentary, Music

Some bands deserve another shot, and another...and another...and another.

Director: Regina Russell Banali | Stars: Steven Adler, Eric Baker, Frankie Banali, Kevin Boisvert

Votes: 481

Lacking in unbiased point of views. This film is an obvious manipulation, and distortion of history. Missing large chunks of time, and excludes any interviews that would circumvent the point of view of one notoriously bashed member of this band, to make him look better than a dead man who can no longer defend himself or his past actions.

Lacks in substance, depth and objectivity. The director was sleeping with the star of her film, however, fails to mention this until the end credits to manipulate viewers into thinking the story was portrayed without distortion.
