Joel - I think Thomas Jane is a very underrated actor. He could do this in such a way that I feel would give a character like Joel, who has been hardened through traumatizing pain, justice. I can picture a grizzled, grey haired Thomas Jane looking the part.

Ellie - This one was REALLY hard for me. There aren't a lot of actresses that can pull this off. At the end of the day I think Maisie Williams is a bit too old for the part and just doesn't seem like Ellie to me. I think Sabrina Carpenter has the attitude to pull it off.

Marlene - When I thought of this casting, I thought it was original and absolutely genius. Upon a quick Google search, it seems a lot of other people had the same idea. I don't care. She looks a lot like Marlene and I think she would do a hell of a job.
