Scary Movie franchise which started in 2000 with Scary Movie 1. The title now has a plural with 'Movies' as this is a reboot and requel to the franchise.
This film is a return to original forms with the returning cast of Marlon, Shawn and Keenan Wayans as the franchise is now owned by the Wayans yet again. Some actors from Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4 also return in some capacity such as Kevin Hart. The cast also includes return of several other past actors too. There are also new actors that are part of this movie.
This movie focuses on parodying requels, remakes and new horror movie genres such as Elevated Horror (Herdiary, Midsommors etc.)

The movie starts with Cindy visiting a museam of science which she finds a time machine, she enters the machine and she is then teleported into a different universe where her past friends are still alive in the year 2027, but history tries to repeat itself with twists and turns.
