Everything I Thought It Was, the most recent release from Justin Timberlake, has fallen off the Billboard 200 albums chart after just four weeks.
This makes the LP his worst-performing project by a large margin of 15 weeks following its release on March 15th. By comparison, 2018’s Man of the Woods was still hovering in the No. 11 spot on the same chart in its fourth week.

“Family Guy” creator and executive producer Seth MacFarlane shared insight at PaleyFest on whether or not the Griffin family will ever make it to the big screen in a full-length feature film. The show’s cast also brought the house down Friday with a live table read of upcoming episode “The Edible Arrangement” and nine performances of musical classics from the series as the show celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Without giving too much of the goodness away, the episode the cast did a table read for — written by Travis Bowe — is titled “The Edible Arrangement.” It’s centered on Lois and Stewie bonding after consuming a few of Brian’s weed-infused gummies. The episode features the first time Lois has ever heard Stewie talk, which provides Stewie with the perfect opportunity to tell her all about his old plot to murder her.

Like the hair of a Chia pet Troll doll, the "Trolls" franchise seems to never stop growing. The glittery DreamWorks reimagining of Thomas Dam's ugly-cute collectibles kicked off in 2016 with the music-filled animated adventure movie "Trolls." Since then, the movie has spawned two sequels, two holiday specials, two TV shows, a series of short films, and countless toys and tie-ins. It's also picked up an Oscar nomination (for Justin Timberlake's song "Can't Stop the Feeling!") and a cool $600 million at the box office (per Box Office Mojo) despite one of its three installments debuting during pandemic lockdown.
The "Trolls" movies are successful, but they aren't exactly the most coherent kids' movie franchise around. If you're anything like me, you've likely caught bits and pieces of several movies, potentially out of order, when the little ones in your life decided to watch (and rewatch ... and rewatch) them. After a shortened 2022-23 season, Saturday Night Live returned a bit later than usual to kick off its 2023-24 run.
The writers strike affected both the end of last season and the start of season 49; the end of the labor action on Sept. 25 meant a mid-October start for SNL — with former castmember Pete Davidson hosting — rather than the late September or early October premiere the show usually has. Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are no strangers to committing to the bit. Poehler shared that she and Offerman used to make out while filming Parks and Recreation in an attempt to get the moment into the show’s blooper reel.

Poehler played Leslie Knope, the deputy director of the (fictional) Pawnee, Indiana, Parks and Recreation Department. Her forever upbeat optimism was balanced by Nick Offerman’s Ron Swanson, a cynical libertarian working as the director of Parks and Rec.

A star-studded group of veteran “Saturday Night Live” guest hosts were on hand this evening to welcome Kristen Wiig into the “Five-Timers Club.” But much to Wiig’s chagrin, most of them haven’t matched her feat of actually hosting “SNL” five times.
The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member made her fifth appearance as host — having previously hit the stage in 2013, 2016 and twice in 2020.
The stolen “SNL” valor actually began with a legit five-timer: Paul Rudd, on hand to welcome her from the audience..
“As a former cast member, it is very special,” Wiig said. “I’m really excited about getting my jacket tonight… they don’t just hand the jackets off to anyone.”
Well, not quite. Soon more stars came out: Matt Damon, Jon Hamm, Martin Short, Will Forte, Fred Armisen, Martin Short and Ryan Gosling. None of whom haven actually hosted five times yet.

Kristen Wiig hosting “Saturday Night Live” this week is definitely something to look forward to.
And something to look backward at a bit as well.
Given how many indelible characters Wiig created in her seven seasons on the show (she departed in 2012) there’s a good chance that we’ll see at least one of them pop back up Saturday night.
But then again, maybe not. Familiar characters are not as much of a regular feature on the show anymore.
Sure, this season has seen a handful of returning characters and sketches: Garrett from Hinge, Lisa from Temecula, Santa’s Workshop, and Cinema Classics have all reappeared. We’ve also seen a few loose re-interpretations of past sketches–the social media game show “Why’d You Like It” was brought back as “Why’d You Say it,” and Big Dumb Hats was re-imagined as Big Dumb Cups.
Arguably the season...

The Group C final took place on “The Masked Singer” Wednesday night, with Lizard going home in third place after belting out “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence. Clock and Poodle Moth advanced to the “Shower Anthems Night” Battle Royal, where Clock prevailed but judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora used the season’s one and only “Ding Dong Keep it On” bell to save Poodle Moth. While those two contestants advanced to the quarterfinals, Lizard was left to unmask, revealing Grammy-nominated singer Sisqo.
“My family loves the show,” he told host Nick Cannon during his unmasked interview. “Every time we saw a season everybody would always say, ‘Hey! That’s gotta be Sisqo!’ So when I got an opportunity to do it I seized it and it’s been really fun.” He added that during the smackdowns “the Lizard had to embody the spirit of the Dragon.

Many fans of The Voice were unhappy when they watched the recent episode of NBC’s singing competition show.
While viewers expected to see a specific stage of the competition, it didn’t air this week.
The Knockouts stage performances weren’t part of the episode and will air next week on The Voice.
Instead of seeing these new performances, viewers saw highlights from previous episodes in Season 25 and a recap of the Blind Auditions and Battles.
That abrupt schedule change in the performances led to some fans venting about the show.
Viewers also speculated about the reason for the schedule change, as other significant events aired on television.

Ryan Gosling has been one of the most popular actors in Hollywood for decades. He began acting as a young kid and rose to prominence by 13. He has appeared in some of the best independent films and major studio features in his career, spanning nearly three decades.

For someone as charismatic and talented as Gosling, one would assume he has had it easy since the start. However, that is not the case in reality. It was a competitive week on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the tracking week that ended March 21, but it wasn’t the battle for the top spot we anticipated. While our racetrack odds projected a close race for number-one between Ariana Grande (“Eternal Sunshine“) and Justin Timberlake (“Everything I Thought It Was”), it actually turned out to be a fight between Grande and Kacey Musgraves (“Deeper Well“), with only 3,500 album units making the difference between first and second place. Read all about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.

Gone are the days. Several Hollywood celebrities have walked a long road to get where they are now. But they have been sensational even at the beginning of their career. A recent video compiling the faces of celebrities created a vibe that will take fans on a nostalgic ride.

Jackie Chan, Keanu Reeves, and Angelina Jolie alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jim Carrey, and several others have looked naturally unique if we go back to the old videos of the stars. Of course, their charm is still intact, but the innocence and free young spirit in their faces exhibit how time flies.

What are the greatest songs by Ariana Grande? The singer with her signature powerhouse voice has made a name for herself on the charts and on the awards scene, so we’ve ranked our favorite songs she has recorded … so far. Did your favorite make the cut? And what do you think of our choice for her best song ever?
Grande started out on Broadway when she was just 15 in the musical “13,” which featured an entirely teenage cast. Then she broke out even bigger a couple of years later when she played Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon comedy “Victorious” in the early 2010s and then its spinoff “Sam and Cat.”

Listening to Justin Timberlake’s Everything I Thought It Was feels like plugging your headphones into a giant gray styrofoam block. While the album manages to steer clear of the misguided Americana pitfalls of 2018’s Man of the Woods, it instead delivers a sound that’s devoid of a distinct artistic identity. Its predecessor at least found Timberlake daring to venture into new territory and trying make a statement of some kind, no matter how ridiculous.
Everything I Thought It Was’s lead single, “Selfish,” is an underwhelmingly mopey nice-guy anthem marked by humming organs and pre-programmed drum patterns. Timberlake’s vocal performance emits small doses of insecurity that feel sincere and unaffected, but one would be hard-pressed to remember a lead single from a major star with a chorus this weak or production choices this humdrum.

Last week, a rumor arrived online that the music legend blasted fellow singing superstar Taylor Swift.
That rumor was reportedly started by a Facebook page called America Loves Liberty in a post about McEntire’s National Anthem performance at Super Bowl Lviii in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Justin Timberlake‘s “Everything I Thought It Was” was released on Friday, March 15. It’s his first new studio album since “Man of the Woods” six years ago. But will it return him to the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart? Gold Derby users have made their predictions, and they say it’ll be a close contest between “Everything” and the second week of Ariana Grande‘s “Eternal Sunshine,” which released on March 8. Grande actually gets the slight edge in their head-to-head.

Billboard expects “Eternal Sunshine” to top the chart in its debut “as easily the biggest new release of the week.” They add, “‘Sunshine’s’ consistent performance on streaming throughout the week may also help nudge it past the 174,000 units that its predecessor, 2020’s ‘Positions,’ posted in its first week.” But how much of her total will she hold on to in week two,...

I throw around the concept of “Grammy darlings” a lot, but what exactly constitutes a Grammy darling? Is it just an artist who doesn’t lose Grammys often, like U2, Adele or Bruno Mars? Let’s go through a few top names.
Beyoncé: Darling
Listen, the most awarded person in Grammy history is definitely a darling. Granted, she has yet to win Album of the Year. However, more impressively, all of her projects have won at least one Grammy. Most have won multiple, including “Dangerously in Love,” “Lemonade,” and “Renaissance.” Beyoncé also gets nominations for pretty much anything she submits, and will likely become the first artist to nab nominations in rap, rock, R&b, dance, pop and country. On top of all that, it’s rare for Beyoncé to miss nominations in the general field, especially with no nominations review committees anymore to potentially force her out.
