In recent nepo baby news, Deacon Phillippe and Magnus Ferrell were spotted arriving for dinner at Craig's, a celebrity-favorite spot in Los Angeles. The two 19-year-olds, who are Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell's kids respectively, reportedly headed there after a party celebrating Magnus's new single, "Drinks on Me," on Oct. 19. Will and wife Viveca Paulin were also there to support their eldest son.
Though Phillippe, a sophomore at NYU, is now best known for his role on "Never Have I Ever," he's also a singer and performed as the special guest for the event. The oldest of three sons, Magnus is a singer-songwriter and in his second year at USC. (This also explains why Will randomly DJ'd at a USC frat party a few weeks ago.)

Funnyman Will Ferrell and his wife, Viveca Paulin, have been married for over two decades and share three sons together. Though neither Will nor Viveca have social media accounts full of pictures of their family, they've made a few public appearances as a group over the years, and most recently, all five of them stepped out together at the July 12 London premiere of "Barbie," which Will stars in as the CEO of Mattel.
Over the years, we've also gleaned a little bit of insight about the boys from Will in interviews. Magnus Paulin Ferrell was born in 2004, Mattias Paulin Ferrell was born in 2006, and Axel Paulin Ferrell arrived in 2010. All three of Will's kids seem to be taking after their dad at least a little - they all appeared in "Anchorman 2" in 2013, and in 2018, Will told Parade that his kids are all funny in their own ways.

Will Ferrell brought his whole family to the "Barbie" premiere in London on July 12. The actor, who plays the CEO of Mattel in Greta Gerwig's surreal film, walked the hot-pink carpet alongside his wife, Viveca Paulin, and their three kids: 19-year-old Magnus, 16-year-old Mattias, and 13-year-old Axel. The event marks the family's first red carpet together since attending the "Daddy's Home 2" premiere in 2017.
Ferrell's entire family coordinated for the special occasion, with two of his sons wearing suits in shades of blue to match their mom's dress. His oldest son, Magnus, layered a purple suit over a floral button-down that matched Ferrell's pink tie. The family were all smiles as they posed together for the cameras. The three boys look just like their father, with Mattias bearing the closest resemblance to the Emmy-winning actor.
In a 2018 interview with Parade, Ferrell revealed that his sons share his sense of humor.

Will Ferrell's most recent comedic role is an Icelandic singer named Lars Erickssong in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, but if it wasn't for his Swedish wife Viveca Paulin and her family introducing him to Eurovision, we likely wouldn't have the movie at all. Will and Viveca met in Los Angeles in 1995, after they both attended an acting class. The pair dated briefly, before eventually breaking up when Will landed Saturday Night Live and left for New York City. Though they stayed friends, Will regarded Viv as "the one that got away."
During an SNL hiatus five years later, the couple reconnected and eventually got married in 2000. They now have three sons: Magnus, 14, Mattias, 11, and Axel, 8. While Viveca is more well-known for her career as an art auctioneer, she can be seen as Porsche Girl in A Night at the Roxbury, the voice of the Auctioneer in Ralph Breaks the Internet,...

Mark Wahlberg wasn’t thrilled when he learned that Will Ferrell‘s 13-year-old son Magnus was in “some sort of communication” with his daughter.
“I found out some disturbing news today,” Wahlberg, 46, tells Ellen DeGeneres when the two appear on her upcoming Tuesday show — the season 15 premiere — to promote their new movie, Daddy’s Home 2.

In their new film The House, Saturday Night Live co-alums Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler play a married couple raising their college-bound daughter. But in real life, the actors are experts at raising boys.
Poehler has two sons (Abel James, 6½, and Archibald “Archie” William Emerson, 8½, with ex-husband Will Arnett) and Ferrell has three (Axel, 7, Mattias, 10, and Magnus, 13, with wife Viveca Paulin) — and both have some funny and sage advice for any future parents of boys.
“There’s going to be pee everywhere!” Poehler tells People for this week’s issue.
Ferrell agrees, warning about the noise that comes with raising young men.

"Like you, and like most Americans, we have had Enough. We have had enough of seeing unthinkable tragedies happen and nothing being done," reads a letter signed by the stars and organized by the Brady Campaign and Center to Prevent Gun Violence. • Vintage Burgundy: classic Anchorman quotes
Just over a dozen or so years ago, when Will Ferrell was still a cast member of Saturday Night Live and starting to think of a future full-time film career, he met up with the head of a major Hollywood studio.
"The thing with comedy characters," the head honcho said to him, "is that they have to be likable."

"And the two development assistants standing by the studio head just went … " Ferrell makes a rubber-faced look of Munch-like horror, and he laughs remembering the moment which, from today's perspective, sitting in London's poshest hotel at the tail...

Will Ferrell accepted the first-ever Comedic Genius Award at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, and his speech was just as bombastic as we've come to expect from the "Anchorman" star.
Near the beginning of Ferrell's speech, he appeared to be thrown off by an unexpected interruption from Aubrey Plaza, who was later thrown out of the ceremony, according to MTV. But he regained his composure quickly and continued with his speech, thanking his fans, and challenging anyone who doesn't think he's funny to a fight in the parking lot with Ferrell and his "Elf" co-star Peter Dinklage.
He then brought up his "family," a middle-aged Asian woman and three Asian children.
"I want to thank my beautiful wife Pam, our two daughters Elizabeth and Tami, and our son, Chow Yun-fat," Ferrell said. In real life, the comedian is married to Swedish actress Viveca Paulin.

Looks like Barack Obama's star power hasn't dimmed after all.
In 2008, Hollywood insiders donated $9.2 million to the presidential hopeful's campaign. This year, despite much talk of softening support among entertainment professionals, they are expected to contribute even more.
According to Michael Janofksy of TheWrap, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Alec Baldwin and many other major figures have already maxed out their $5,000 personal contribution limits.
The trouble, for Obama, is that many in Hollywood do not want to dirty their hands with contributions to Super PACs, the controversial new groups that can accept unlimited donations as long as they don't direct their funds to a single candidate. Many Democrats have criticized Super PACs for giving wealthy donors outsize influence over the political process -- and if there's one thing Hollywood heavyweights understand, it's the power of bad publicity.

Will Ferrell lost his virginity at the age of 21. The 44-year-old actor - who now has three sons with wife Viveca Paulin - first became intimate with a woman during his junior year of college, and admitted the experience felt like 'the way it was supposed to happen'. He said: 'In my mind's eye, it seemed like the way it was supposed to happen.' However, the 'Anchorman' actor explained his mother thought he had lost his virginity during his high school years to a girl who was particularly popular with his male classmates. Speaking in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he added: 'She said, 'If you slept with this girl, you'd better slap a condom on that pecker...

BabyCenter, a popular pregnancy and parenting website, announced its list for the best and worst celebrity baby names of 2010. The results were based on a site poll of almost 2000 parents.
Rhea Durham and David Burtka (and famous partners Mark Wahlberg and Neil Patrick Harris, respectively) find themselves at the top of the best list with classic names Grace Margaret for Rhea and Mark, and Harper Grace for David and Neil. (Interestingly, David and Neil also made the least favorable list with the other twin in their pair, Gideon Scott.)
Topping the worst list are Jamie Oliver's son Buddy Bear, Alicia Keys' son Egypt and Will Ferrell and wife Viveca Paulin's son Axel. We're sure they are all lovely babies, but we kind of agree about the weird names.

Will Ferrell and fellow funnyman Larry David have lost a multi-million dollar legal battle with banking giant JPMorgan Chase.
The two comics, along with Ferrell's wife Viveca Paulin and his business manager Matt Lichtenberg, filed a complaint against the company in 2008, alleging bankers made $18 million (£12 million)-worth of investments which were "unauthorised and unsuitable".
The group took the grievance to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, but a securities industry arbitration panel has now ruled against them.
The panel ordered the group to pay the banking firm $600,000 (£400,000) in costs and attorney fees, as well as a penalty of $22,500 (£15,000) for breaking legal rules while fighting the case, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Will Ferrell is a hands-on dad with his three sons. But there’s just one thing he really won’t do: changing the dirty diapers.
“I refuse to do it,” he tells People at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his dark comedy Everything Must Go. “I let my wife do it. I’m not so good with it.”
It’s nighttime at the Ferrell house, with wife Viveca Paulin and sons Magnus, 6½, Mattias, 3½, and Axel, 7 months, where the actor steps up. Ferrell, 43, says he loves reading to his boys and tucking them into bed.

Hollywood stars have been flooding the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York on Monday, August 2 for the world premiere of "The Other Guys", but it was Eva Mendes who turned heads on the black-and-yellow carpet. The actress, who stars as Sheila Gamble in the action comedy, got dramatic with her dress for the event.
Joining her co-stars for the special screening, the 36-year-old beauty opted to wear a simple champagne dress that features a full skirt and a statement bow at the waist. She completed her stunning look with a diamond bracelet, ring and hair piece. For her shoes, she chose to wear black satin peep-toe heels.
Posing with Eva for the press line before heading inside the theaters were two of the leading men, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. Both looked polished in their formal suit. Will was accompanied by wife Viveca Paulin. Mark, who recently was honored with a...

Where's Conan O'Brien? Not hanging around NBC and its websites, that's for sure.
Not only has O'Brien vacated "The Tonight Show" premises, but NBC has made sure all traces of his short run have been expunged from the Internet and anywhere else in their sphere of influence.
O'Brien's last night hosting "The Tonight Show" was Friday, Jan. 22, but when Zap2it checked the NBC press site only a few days later for a photo, none could be found. I was so shocked by the sudden disappearance I tweeted my surprise.
It looks like NBC didn't just stop at removing Conan's photos. Media Memo reports that all of O'Brien's "Tonight Show" videos have been removed from NBC.com as well as Hulu.
Creepier still, O'Brien's image on an NBC mural disappeared, only to be replaced by Jay Leno's image, points out Gawker.
Okay, that last action makes sense. The mural is in a public place,...

Conan O'Brien could very well end up on Fox by the fall -- provided the network can show its corporate bosses that a late-night show would make money.
So sayeth Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of Fox parent News Corp. On a conference call discussing the company's financial results Wednesday (Feb. 3), Murdoch said the network is giving a late-night show "a lot of thought and examination."
"[C]ertainly if the program people can show us that we could do it, and be fairly confident of making a profit on it, we'd do it in a flash," Murdoch said.
The "if" there is a pretty sizable one, though. Fox affiliates run syndicated shows after their late local newscasts, and those tend to be moneymakers for the stations. They would have to sign off on any late-night franchise, about which Murdoch said, "I'm sure we'll have some difficult negotiations, but I'm speculating. We'll have to wait and see.

The Axel doesn't fall far from the "Free Bird"-filled tree. Just hours after a Skynyrd-channeling Will Ferrell led an all-star band to help Conan O'Brien sign off in style, the funnyman and his wife, Viveca Paulin, welcomed their third son, the rock 'n' roll-approved Axel Ferrell. Which means that wasn't just a pregnant hippie dancing at his side. That was a very pregnant hippie.
