Two best friends who share the same birthday had the best response when they were told they couldn’t be sisters because they didn’t have the same skin color.
Four-year-old Zuri Copeland and Jia Sarnicola were born two days apart (Zuri on June 5 and Jia on June 3), and have been best friends for two years ever since meeting at school in Miami. The two hang out almost daily, and they’re so close to each other that they recently started telling people they are twin sisters.

Last winter, Leonardo DiCaprio got dressed up in expensive clothes and proceeded to do drugs, have wild sex with women, and commit no shortage of financial fraud in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf Of Wall Street." While the movie is based on the life of Jordan Belfort, whom DiCaprio studied for the role, that hedonist lifestyle wasn't a completely mystery to him either. This Vice documentary, "The Real Wolf Of Wall Street?," explores another figure that may been (and likely was) a source of inspiration for the actor. You might not know the name Dana Giacchetto, but just Google it and you'll get a quick record of his notoriety. Founding the Cassandra Group in the '80s, he rode quick wave to financial success in the '90s working with name brand clients like Sub Pop, Smashing Pumpkins, Alanis Morissette, Phish, Victoria Williams, Q-Tip, and R.E.M., and hanging...

It's inevitable that I miss out on some terrific music and culture every year. The sheer volume of releases seems to increase every year, and the lack of time to listen to everything, the recommendations of fellow critics and friends, well, there's just so many hours in a day. Here then are some things that I finally got around to ingesting in the last few weeks. Even caught a few live shows in between all of the mounting work. And if that wasn't enough, a killer new tune from His Purple Badass - Prince!

Prog is back! This young U.K.-based quartet -- guitar, violin, bass, drums -- borrows more from Gentle Giant than from the sound of its hometown of Canterbury, i.e., bands such as Caravan, Soft Machine, Egg, or Gong. I've not enjoyed a progressive rock record this much...

In those preseason games, Williams took the field for the Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs. He also played for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League.
In 2012, Williams played for the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena League, earning nearly 1000 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns. He also averaged 23 yards on kickoff returns.
Storm President Derrick Brooks says, "We are shocked and saddened" by Williams' death.
Williams is survived by his fiancee, Vanitia Harrigan, and a daughter, Tori Williams.

Greetings all stars, we’re back with three teams – Yarlexis, Shad, and Rujubee – and a buttload of glitter and hair extensions. This week is all about girl groups, but first we have to get through the mini-challenge. The mini-challenge requires the teams to read each other in cheer form, and there’s nary a Kirsten Dunst among them. Team Yarlexis calls Chad Michaels old, but the team’s best insult is: “Knock, knock, who’s there?” “Shannel.” “Shannel who?” “Exactly.” Yarlexis cheers what we’re all thinking, and manages to pull out the win. Then it’s time for the main event – each team is supposed to form a girl group and perform to a Ru song, with the help of a special guest. Oh yes, “special” guest. There’s Kelly Osbourne (the progeny of Ozzy and inexplicable panel member on Fashion Police) the heretofore unheard of Jillian Hervey (daughter...

Jack Osbourne, son of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and "The Talk" host Sharon Osbourne, recently announced he has multiple sclerosis. The reality star joins a long list of celebrities from music, politics, television and film that have been diagnosed with the degenerative nerve disorder.
"I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?' I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing," Osbourne says.
Osbourne was diagnosed just two weeks after the birth of his first child, Pearl Clementine, with fiancée Lisa Stelly.
Interestingly, Ozzy was also once diagnosed with Ms in 1992 -- he even announced his retirement and played a farewell tour. But six months later, the Osbournes learned that it was a misdiagnosis.
Other celebrities with multiple sclerosis:
Montel Williams (born July 3, 1956) - former talk show host
David "Squiggy" Lander (June 22, 1947) - actor, comedian and musician
Jonathan Katz (Dec. 1, 1946) - comedian...

Retired lorry driver brings classical civilisation back to the north of England, including a mobility scooter disguised as a chariot
Never make the mistake of thinking that mine host and the regulars in a pub are simply people who knows how to keep a beer, pull a pint and play darts. Check out the life of Tim Everton if you have illusions on that score.
And now here's another lively mind in the taproom. Victoria Williams emails with this from North News, that marvellous eye on events in north eastern England, brings Ephemeris nuntii Latini as we used to call news at school (and as they still do on this outstanding website).
Victoria gets straight into the important bit:
A grandfather who calls himself Maximus Decimus Meridius and dresses as a Roman has sketched 50 busts of regulars at his local pub. Otherwise known as 67-year-old Tony Jose, Maximus became obsessed...

West Goshen, Pennsylvania — Visitors who came in droves to the stretch of highway where Ryan Dunn's life ended said the deaths of the "Jackass" star and his passenger on Monday serve as a shocking warning that even someone as seemingly immortal as the daredevil couldn't survive the risk of drinking and driving.
"I hope a lot of kids in the community will see what happened to their role model. Maybe this sends a signal that you're not indestructible," said a West Goshen police officer, a father of two teens.
Laraine Livergood of Collegeville brought her three children to the crash site Wednesday night. "It shows what drinking and driving can do," she said.

It’s Libby from Lost as you (and Hurley) have never seen her before – animated! Cynthia Watros stars alongside musician/actor Kinky Friedman (he plays the President) in new indie film Mars, which premieres this weekend at SXSW. Mark Duplass (Humpday, The Puffy Chair) plays an astronaut who goes on the first manned mission to Mars, looking for “life and love.” The whole project is the brainchild of Austin, Texas-based animator Geoff Marslett, who has said he wanted the film to look like a cross between A Scanner Darkly and Sin City. But he also notes the film is...
