Actor Ryan Corr reflected on his “magical” experience on the HBO series House of the Dragon in his new uInterview.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon is set almost 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. It tells the story of the Targaryen civil war when King Viserys I Targaryen’s children battled for control of the Iron Throne. The show stars celebrities like Milly Alcock, Matt Smith and Olivia Cooke.
When asked what stood out to him while on set, Corr explained to uInterview founder Erik Meers, “You’re really just stepping onto a platform with just some of the most incredible people. You don’t really have to suspend your disblief when it’s like that, you’re literally working into operational castles with fire and things like that.”
Corr shared a moment of awe for central actor Smith in one of the scenes.

In reference to his time on-screen, Cameron told uInterview founder Erik Meers, “I think a favorite memory was probably hometown, coming home to see my family for the first time. Actress Olivia Colman and director Thea Sharrock reflected on the role of women in their period comedy film, Wicked Little Letters, in their new uInterview.
“A small movie that talks about a lot of big ideas,” as uInterview founder Erik Meers termed it, Wicked Little Letters is set against the backdrop of a quaint English coastal town in the 1920s and revolves around the lives of two neighboring individuals: the staunchly traditional Edith Swan (Colman) and the foul-mouthed Irish immigrant Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley).
Inspired by a true story, the film shows Edith and her fellow townsfolk become recipients of mischievous letters that brim with unintentionally comical profanities, and the blame falls upon the spirited and foul-mouthed Rose. The arrival of these anonymous letters sparks a nationwide frenzy and leads to a trial. However, as the town’s resourceful women, spearheaded by the determined Police Officer Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan...

Luis told uInterview founder Erik Meers of his father, “He certainly knew how he was going to take this privilege he was given to play, and he from the beginning knew he was representing the working class, the people that did not have a voice at the time. He found out about, you know,...

Ryan Phillippe, the star of the new film Prey, reflected on his journey as an actor that started when he played the first gay teenager on TV in his exclusive uInterview.
Phillippe explained that his fascination with acting started when he skipped church one day as a teenager after he faked an illness. “Cool Hand Luke was playing and watching a guy who was the epitome of masculinity, and so good looking, so charismatic, and then watching the emotional beats he plays in that movie,” Phillippe told uInterview founder Erik Meers. “I just was fascinated by the emotion, and how he was able to make that so authentic. Actor Ryan Phillippe shared his experience on the set of his new action thriller film Prey.
Phillippe revealed what about the film he originally connected with. “The idea of being on this plane that goes down in a reserve, for big prey, for big game, it just captured my imagination pretty immediately,” Phillippe told uInterview founder Erik Meers, who first interviewed the actor for the cover of Paper magazine in 2001.
He continued, “You know, I like survival movies, and I felt like this was one where any of us could put ourselves in that situation, mentally, and it’s terrifying, you know, and so it was a really easy sell in regards to what the idea of the movie was, and I like that a lot of times, I think that in its simplicity there is relatability to that because you can imagine what if it happened to you, or whatever.

But sex work is still problematized and seen as a result or cause of trauma. In a conversation with uInterview founder Erik Meers, Lyes opened up about his experience on the set of Mayhem! as an actor with a real-life background in kickboxing. Lyes revealed that he did approximately 95% of his stunts in the movie, of which many were real.
Lyes stated that almost all of the body shots that took place in the film were real. However, Lyes confessed that he quickly regretted the decision to appeal to such authenticity, as his second fight in the movie was against a former Thai champion, whom Lyes was scared would break his ribs.

In a new uInterview, Louise Linton and Kristen Ruhlin shared their experience making the film Chick Flick.
Linton explained to uInterview founder Erik Meers how she starred in the original film in 2013, but after finishing it still felt that something was missing.
“I loved the script. I thought it was so charming but this sort of predated a lot of the social media and dating apps. But I really identified with what this story was about and we had a great time filming it. And then once the filmmakers were in the edit, we just had the feeling that the story wasn’t sort of connecting the way that we’d all intended.”
After deciding to reshoot the movie, Linton decided to update it by adding Tinder, Bumble and other online dating platforms to the storyline.
“We added 50% to the screenplay and reshot quite a bit of it both in Washington,...
