Geoffrey Rush is set to play composer and lyricist Lionel Bart for the musical feature "Consider Yourself" at BBC Films. Bart wrote the score for "Oliver!," the legendary musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' "Oliver Twist".
Bart was an untrained musician who couldn’t read or write music and yet became the first person to have three West End musicals running and at one point was earning more in song royalties than the Beatles. Even so, he still managed to lose it all.

Olympus Has Fallen star Butler is in talks to star in the Universal Pictures thriller.
Butler is tipped to play a man desired by both the government and the military for his special powers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Raven is based on the 2010 short film of the same name, which was written by Ricardo de Montreuil and Antonio Perez. De Montreuil is still attached to direct The Raven.
Michael Gilio has adapted the script from Montreuil and Perez's original story, working from an earlier draft by Justin Marks.
Liam Hemsworth was previously in the running for the lead role in the movie before the project stalled.
Mark Wahlberg and Steve Levinson will also serve as producers with Paul Brooks. Scott Niemeyer - Brooks's colleague at Gold Circle - has been named as an executive producer on the feature.

Burlesque director Steve Antin has signed on to helm Gold Circle's comedy The Girlfriend , says a story at The Hollywood Reporter . He'll direct from a script by Eric Schade. The female-driven comedy follows a woman who, after learning that her husband is cheating on her, realizes that she can move in with the other woman, posing as an unknowing roommate, to get her revenge. Antin launched his career as an actor, playing Troy in The Goonies . Burlesque was his first feature project as a director and starred Cher, Christina Aguilera, Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci. The film is a psychological thriller focused around a young American governess, played by Levy, who goes to London to take care of a doll. Gold Circle is financing the film with Bharat Nalluri to direct from a screenplay by Stacey Menear. Paul Brooks, Roy Lee, and Jim Weddaa will produce. Scott Niemeyer and John Middleton will serve as the executive producers of In A Dark Place.
