Britney Spears' fiance, Jason Trawick, was named as her co-conservator on Wednesday. The pop singer's father, Jamie Spears, has had legal control over his daughter's finances since February 2008, and the request to make Trawick a co-conservator came from Britney, herself. The conservatorship will not be lifted completely until a judge makes the determination, based on advice from Spears' doctors, that she is healthy enough to manage her own affairs.
***
Earlier this week, Rosie O'Donnell put in her two cents about Lindsay Lohan, saying that the actress shouldn't be working and needs some time away. Lindsay's rep shot back saying that O'Donnell should "focus on her own career right now and not worry about everyone else's." This morning, O'Donnell explained that she was only worried about Lindsay's well being and compared the actress to the late Whitney Houston.

After the sad news over the weekend that Kandi's fiance (or ex-fiance, apparently) had been killed, it was difficult to watch the woman innocently struggle over their fraught engagement. And seriously, Bravo—the preview for next week shows a tense therapy session in which Kandi's skeptical mother accuses the man of being a dead-beat. Surely this scenes could have been scrapped in response to the tragic turn of events. Kandi continued to be the sole voice of reason on the show. (This good sense will hopefully steer her well as she navigates her grief.) The best parts of the episode...

It's been a hard season for NeNe fans. The woman, perhaps feeling the pressure of Bravo producers and her own sudden popularity, has seemed backed into a caricature of herself. At home though, around the calming influence of Gregg, NeNe behaves like the softer, sweeter, sillier version of her former self. The couple was worried about Bricen, her low-key and likable meatball of a boy who has dropped out of college, taken to laying around on the sofa and hosting club parties with 1000 of his closest friends, and, most painful for his mother, let his hair go. "He came back from school like a werewolf," she said. "Bricen has his ethnic side. I can appreciate that. You just have to look neat with the whole ethnic thing." (NeNe continues to have a problem with ethnic things, and even she doesn't know what she means by that.) What was so refreshing...
