"Prepare the Sistine Chapel."
Move over, "Release the Kraken" – there's a new godlike command in town, and its word is law. (Jude Law, to be precise.) With this order, Pope Pius Xiii and The Young Pope alike begin their greatest triumph: an address to the Cardinals delivered in full papal regalia, towering tiara and all. The fact that the Holy Father gets his gear on in a full-fledged dress-up montage soundtracked by Lmfao's "Sexy and I Know It" doesn't undercut the totalitarian coming-out party that follows; if anything, it enhances it.

Whereas So You Think You Can Dance has been a little sleepy and stale, America's Best Dance Crew has been giving us the elixir of reality-television life. This all-stars reboot is nothing short of fantastic, so it's fitting that the final three crews are the most talented, inventive, and unique crews left — Quest, Super Cr3w, and Kinjaz. The crews performed two dances on Wednesday night, and we're picking our favorite from each. They're all so great that it's more a matter of taste than ability, which is a great place for a competition show to be.Quest Crew, "Shut Up and Dance" Is it any surprise that Quest Crew toured with Lmfao? They don't quite have the laser precision of Kinjaz or the technique of Super Cr3w, but they've got a sense of drama. (Like when they did an Ariana Grande performance in drag.) This is a perfect...

The second week of Dancing With the Stars season 20 celebrated "My Jam Monday," which, in case you didn't already guess, meant that the celebrities chose the songs for their performances. But, like a good waltz, week two is always bittersweet because the very first couple gets sent home. This season, the first couple to be eliminated from the running for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy was Lmfao frontman Redfoo and his pro partner Emma Slater — and the studio audience was none too pleased with the result. (Spoiler alert: Please do not read if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars”) The 20th season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” had its first casualties on Monday. It is never easy to be the first one to go, and this year the unfortunate honor went to Redfoo of the electronic dance music group, Lmfao. The crazy-haired singer’s elimination was due to a combination of judges’ scores and viewer votes after he was tied at the bottom of the board last week with model Charlotte McKinney, both scoring 22 out of 40. Not that Dancing With the Stars‘ title really needs to be longer — but after the powerhouse performances delivered on Monday’s installment, may we suggest that Season 20 be known as Dancing With the Stars: The Comeback Kids?
Following a season premiere that left much to be desired from the celebs on the dance floor, Week 2 found even the lowest-scoring couples making an excellent case for why they should walk away with this year’s Mirrorball trophy.
Charlotte McKinney, for example, displayed impressive precision on her cha-cha with Keo Motsepe (while also reminding us that cyberbullying is not cool); Redfoo,...

No one is L their Mfao tonight. Even though he improved drastically this week over last week's first and relatively unsuccessful dance, Lmfao's Redfoo was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars tonight. Based on the judges' scores from last week, he and partner Emma Slater tied for last place with Charlotte McKinney with 22 out of 40, but apparently Charlotte was able to scrounge up enough viewer votes to make it through the week. Charlotte did, however, find herself in the bottom four, along with Suzanne Somers and Bachelor Chris Soules. Chris didn't do so hot this week either, earning only 21 out of 40 – the lowest of the night – for his cha cha from the judges after...

Hey Dance fans! The "landmark 20th season" and 10th year of "Dancing with the Stars" has begun, and it already looks like some fierce competition. Many strong and surprising dancers hide among the twelve new contestants, and the weak links are only moderately weak. No Master Ps, Lolo Joneses, or Michael Waltrips here this season, thank goodness. But why do they bother making Derek Hough go through the motions of competing when they're going to pair him up with former Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin? Seems like a shoo-in. But who knows, she could be terrible. It's unlikely, but anything is possible.
Lots of the pairings seem the same as in past seasons though. Tony Dovolani is again placed with an older competitor, while Mark Ballas is with the young one; Derek is with the ringer again, and Val with the surprising unknown talent. Fortunately, Peta is again paired with someone...

The final episode of "Chelsea Lately" on E! served mainly as a reminder that, no, Ms. Handler isn't actually going away. The "My Horizontal Life" author will be headed to Netflix for her next talk show venture, but she still splurged on a fantastic sendoff special that culminated in a tremendous "We are the World" type mega-song with tons and tons of guest-stars. Look around in that crowd. Our eyes detect Sandra Bullock, Kathy Griffin, Gerard Butler, Diablo Cody, Melissa McCarthy, Miley Cyrus, Joel McHale, and Tim Allen. And then a hundred or so others. But who ruled this star-studded goodbye? We picked the top five contributors. 5. Tim Gunn Even though the "Project Runway" guru spoke-sang his contribution, it was still tuneful and adorable. He's like a gay Yul Brynner up there. 4. Marlee Matlin Marlee Matlin was S-e-l-l-i-n-g that Asl translation at the right-hand corner of the screen. Pure ebullience from start to finish.

Well, there was certainly a lot of variety on this weekend's edition of Britain's Got Talent, wasn't there? From singers to pole dancers to doggy discos to puppeteers, if anything was going to show how many different acts you can have on Bgt it was this episode. But was any of it actually any good? Digital Spy rounds up all the action for you...
The Good...
La Voix & The London Gay Big Band: We quite liked La Voix at first, when she joked: "I'm sorry I was so late - I was having Simon's baby." Mr Cowell wasn't there for this audition (and he doesn't like drag acts, so that may have been a blessing.) This performance of 'New York, New York' wasn't a massive wow moment, but it's no doubt that they're all talented, so it was three yeses for them!
Ed Drewett: Ooh, isn't this going to be a controversial one?...

Last week on "Dancing with the Stars," the pairs danced to songs from popular Disney movies, with Big Time Rush's James Maslow and his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd topping the leaderboard with their contemporary routine to "Let it Go" from "Frozen," which garnered a perfect 40/40.
On the opposite end of the scoring was "The Price is Right" host Drew Carey and partner Cheryl Burke, who only nabbed a 28/40 for their quickstep to "Friend Like Me" from "Aladdin."
In a shocking elimination, Aussie heartthrob Cody Simpson had to hang up his dancing shoes after failing to capture enough audience call in votes to hang on.
This week, the remaining pairs performed to party anthems with a special guest appearance by Lmfao's Redfoo.
Landing on top of the leader board with a score of 40, Meryl Davis and her pro partner Maks Chmerkovskiy wowed the judges with their tango to Calvin Harris' "Feel So Close.

Dancing with the Stars “Party Anthem Night” fittingly featured Lmfao member Redfoo as a guest judge, sitting on the panel with Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.
Dancing With The Stars Recap
First up this week was NeNe Leakes, who found out before she took the stage that she’s safe for another week. With Tony Dovolani, the Real Houswives of Atlanta star danced a Salsa to Nelly’s “Hot in Herre.” Though the routine once again exposed Leakes' struggle to nail down technique, her personality made the performance passable. Scores: 8+9+8+8=33
Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas, who were in danger of elimination, took on a cha-cha to Icona Pop’s “I Love It.” Bure appeared to get a handle on the necessary hip action for the dance in rehearsal. However, as the judges pointed out, in her performance, the former Full House star’s confidence came and went.

Get ready to par-tay!
Monday night's Dancing with the Stars showcased party anthems, with guest judge Redfoo from Lmfao helping to weed out the ho-hum from the fun.
James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd entered as the charmed couple after getting a perfect score on Disney week, while Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas were just holding on and Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke hoped that audience scores would prop them up for another week.
Except, that didn't happen.
In the end, Carey's stage presence couldn't save him, and he and Burke were eliminated from the competition. A long-time fan of the show,...

Are you ready to partaaaaaaay? That was the question posed by Dancing with the Stars this week, when the eight remaining pairs danced to party anthems and Lmfao's Redfoo stopped by to guest-judge.
We get the best moment of the night early on, when Emma Slater drops an entire tray of popcorn and soda during the opening number. That was an accident, right? She looks horrified. Carrie Ann also appears to have her own party going on with that hairstyle. Yikes.
Let's get this shindig started!

And another celebrity's dance party has come to an end. Though it was "Party Anthem Night" on Dancing With the Stars, the April 21 outing was anything but fun for one celeb as they were eliminated from the competition. Party rocking with the judges tonight? Lmfao frontman Redfoo, who served as the night's guest judge. The two stars who found themselves in the bottom three by the two-hour fiesta's end were The Wonder Years star Danica McKellar, Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure (How rude!) and The Price Is Right host Drew Carey and in the end, Drew and his professional partner Cheryl Burke were ousted from the ballroom. On a brighter note, Maksim Chmerkovskiy finally had a...

Tonight’s Dancing With the Stars will have us rocking out to our favorite party anthems. Lmfao front man Redfoo will be filling the ever-rotating Judge #4 chair this week, and he is definitely well qualified. Not only does Lmfao sing “Party Rock Anthem” (which is one of a handful of Party Anthems I can think of off of the top of my head besides “We Are Family“ and “Ymca“), his father is Berry Gordy Jr., founder of Motown Records, so Redfoo (real name Stefan Kendal Gordy) knows great music inside and out. I hope tonight’s musical selections are as fun … Continue reading →

At the height of fighting during World War II, the allied forces invading Nazi-occupied Europe found themselves with a challenging predicament on their hands: fighting across this particular theatre would mean putting some of the greatest artistic treasures of the western world in harm’s way. The advent of bombers, tanks, and all manner of explosives made cultural collateral damage more likely than ever, but weighed against the greatest threat the free world had ever known, art preservation was low on the list of priorities for most. Not so for The Monuments Men, a group of socialites-turned-soldiers that went to Europe specifically to save and steal art from Nazi hands, ensuring some of the world’s irreplaceable works of art would be cherished by generations beyond just the greatest one.
