Gavin DeGraw’s latest single, “Best I Ever Had,” may be a toe-tapping track about the one that got away, but the song’s title phrase could also describe his entire Make A Move experience. For his fourth studio album, released earlier this month, the musician mostly known for his piano-based pop sound and love-drenched ballads partnered with co-writers and producers for all eleven tracks (including Ryan Tedder, Butch Walker, Busbee, Martin Johnson, Benny Blanco and Kevin Rudolf) – a creative decision unheard of for the habitual “hermit” songwriter. “When you’re writing alone and you hit a wall,

Musician and producer Kevin Rudolf gained acclaim after "Let It Rock," his collaboration with Lil Wayne, became a hit in 2008. Now Rudolf is back on the scene with "Here's To Us," the lead single from his upcoming third album.
Rudolf chatted with HuffPost Live's Marc Lamont Hill about the new song and how it allows fans to see him in a different way.
"A lot of people know me for the Cash Money association," he said. "I would never take anything way from that, but I wanted to show a new side of myself and show the more singer-songwriter side of myself, with a focus on lyrics, and kind of step out from behind the production."

If Keith Urban's latest single sounds faintly familiar, thank Madonna. The country star revealed in an interview with USA Today that he found inspiration for "Little Bit of Everything" in the Queen of Pop's popular 2001 song "Don't Tell Me."
The connection isn't as totally mind-boggling as one might think -- upon its release, 'Don't Tell Me" was hailed as a song that borrowed country and folk vibes. "She had a staccato acoustic-guitar part in there that I thought was very cool," Urban reportedly said when explaining what aspects of the song enlightened him.
Another track that have may factored into the "Little Bit" that's currently climbing the country charts is Train's "Hey, Soul Sister." Urban likened the song's demo, co-written by "Let It Rock" singer Kevin Rudolf, to Train's 2009 megahit.
"Little Bit of Everything" will headline Urban's upcoming album "Fuse," slated for a Sept. 10 release. Click over to USA...

Oh Sit! Premieres Tonight on TheCW
I'm not afraid to admit that I love ABC's Wipeout, and if you're willing to admit you love it too then you will also love Oh Sit!, which premieres on TheCW tonight at 8pm Et. The press for the show describes it as a game of musical chairs hosted by Jamie Kennedy (The Ghost Whisperer). The truth is it is quite a bit wilder than that, you can say musical chairs is definitely in the DNA of the show but the actual contest is like a slightly polished Wipeout, with big balls that hang instead of rise.
Oh Sit! is a fun, high-stakes, high-octane musical chairs competition, in which 12 thrill-seeking daredevils race head-to-head through five physically demanding, chair-splitting obstacle course-style eliminations as they each compete to claim a chair – all to the sounds of a live band. At the end of the hour, only...

Considering that Kevin Rudolf has written enough pop songs for artists like Jesse McCartney and Leona Lewis, it comes as no surprise that he can craft a pop song for himself. The Cash Money artist dropped "Don't Give Up" this week after he decided to embrace that lighter side for himself.
"It's the first song I wrote for the album. I wrote it right when I got to New York from L.A. I hadn't really written a song for myself in a long time. I got really inspired. I left L.A. and I felt a thousand pounds were off my shoulders," he said of the song, which will serve as his next album's lead single. "This was a message I...

Last week, "Round and Round" producer Kevin Rudolf was quoted as praising not one but three tracks Britney Spears reportedly penned for Selena Gomez's new album. But when MTV News spoke to Rudolf recently, he denied knowing anything about the tracks Britney wrote for Gomez.
"I honestly don't know anything about it," he said. "I never said that ... I don't know. I didn't hear anything about it. I'm doing some stuff for it [Gomez's album], but it has nothing to do with Britney," he said.
Well, with that rumor cleared up, he went on to describe what he and Gomez are actually up to in the studio, which includes writing "a great song. As far as the new stuff goes, it's about trying...

Hollywood Undead are one of the rare bands who combine rap and rock. That's one way to get recognizable and another is to hide their identity behind masks. The band had broken through Billboard Hot 200 chart since their first album "Swan Songs" but their sophomore effort, "American Tragedy", did even better by landing at number 4 and selling 70,000 copies.
"I gotta be honest with everyone: I was really looking forward to the opportunity to be on top of Britney this week, but being right behind her and Adele is a memory we'll relish forever," member Charlie Scene said about the second album's achievement.
Musically, Hollywood Undead combine alternative rock, hip-hop and dance sound. They often confuse people of where to place them in the genre for their broad use of musical instruments. The second album came from the productions of Kevin Rudolf and S*A*M & Sluggo. But the band had toured with rock stars,...

Welcome home Lil Wayne! It seems like it's been forever since we first heard Lil Wayne was headed to jail, doesn't it? He served 8 months of his 1-year sentence after getting locked up in March. The artist was jailed after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon last year after his tour bus was stopped and a gun was foud in 2007. According to reports, renowned event planner Colin Cowie is organizing a royal-themed homecoming for Weezy, set for Sunday in Miami, Florida. Hundreds of guests are expected to appear including Cash Money Records CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams, Drake, Kevin Rudolf and Jay Sean. Okay Lil Wayne, don't be like T.I. and do something stupid to land yourself behind bars again. You're at an extremely high point in your career and we know you have potential to rise even higher. Anyway, that's my two cents. What do you guys think?...

Jesse McCartney is back with his fourth studio album and while he's giving fans a taste with first single "Shake," they won't be able to "Have It All" until January.
"Have It All" is McCartney's first album since 2008's "Departure." "Departure" yielded the top 10 single "Leavin'" and top 40 hit "How Do You Sleep." Jesse is re-teaming with "How Do You Sleep" producer Sean Garrett for the new tracks, as well as Kevin Rudolf, J. Cash, and Ammo.

There are plenty of historical moments you just wish you could have been a part of. This one's no exception. Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith recently met on a bowling alley dance floor to compare moves, but only one emerged victorious.
After appearing at Bieber's August 31 concert at Madison Square Garden -- which apparently had quite the roster of guest stars -- TMZ reports Smith joined the singer at Manhattan's Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge.
When Kevin Rudolf's "You Make the Rain Fall" came on, the boys got down to business, showing off their moves for everyone at the private party. And though witnesses say they both "killed it," Bieber's moonwalk secured the win for him.
Not satisfied by these grainy images? TMZ also says Bieber's documentary crew got the whole thing on tape, so one day you might just be paying to see it in 3D.

Even though most people didn’t hear the name Kevin Rudolf until his hit song “Let It Rock” two years ago, the producer/musician/songwriter/artist has been toiling away for more than a decade. Rudolf’s first real brush with potential stardom came in 2001 when his band, Binocular, signed with Madonna’s Maverick label. The album flopped, but Rudolf went on to work with Timbaland, playing guitar on records for the Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado and many others. But the lure of being an artist remained. “Let It Rock,” from his debut album “In the City,” sold more than 3 million copies....
