"Glee" has been keeping Lauren Gottlieb busy before she returns as an all-star on "So You Think You Can Dance."
The 21-year-old dancer is one of the members of Vocal Adrenaline, the show choir nemesis of William McKinley High's underdog glee club New Directions. In Tuesday's (June 1) episode "Funk," our heroes get discouraged after seeing Vocal Adrenaline kicking butt as usual, so it's up to Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) to raise their morale.
Although Gottlieb enjoys being the villain on "Glee," the actors' heartbreaking performances sometimes make it hard to play the bad guy.
"It's crazy and we love it because we're all together, so we just ham it up all day," she tells Zap2it. "But it's really sad to look over when we're shooting a scene with the main cast and Lea Michele is almost in tears. It's really sad. I'm definitely not that person to just stand...

Thoughts on Tuesday's "Glee" opener? You guys like?
To celebrate it's return, Korbi TV is answering some of your queries...
I can't believe Emma's a virgin!! Well, I guess I can. When will she lose it? -KTMadonna will inspire Miss Emma to proposition Will next week. And he accepts. Whether they go through with it, however, I won't say.
Will Schuester!! You man whore!! How could he cheat on Emma like that? -PaulineGood thing they broke it off, because -- as I mentioned during our live "Glee" chat Tuesday night -- Kristin Chenoweth's April will be jumping into bed with Will soon too.
I'm glad Finn didn't sleep with Santana and Brittany. He belongs with Rachel. -MelissaWait 'til next week. Santana will drop Brittany like dead weight and go after Finn's virginity with full force.
I was excited to see Jason from "So You Think You Can Dance" in the premiere.

Producer Nigel Lythgoe tweeted today about the "shocking but Great" changes to season 7 of 'So You Think You Can Dance.' First major shake-up: Partners will change every week.
That's bad news for viewers who fell in love with pairings such as last season's Jakob Karr and Ashleigh Di Lello, but good news for younger dancers like Mollee Gray and Nathan Trasoras, who both matured considerably when split up and partnered with more experienced partners.

Seeing Legacy eliminated this week after the phenomenal Travis Wall "War of the Roses/Mr. & Mrs. Smith" piece he performed with Ellenore? And Mollee axed too, though she had one of the finest performance shows of the season this Tuesday?
Well, it proves that America is not always voting based on merit.
But as judge Adam Shankman points out in the clip below, the votes probably weren't votes against Legacy and Mollee, just more in support of married couple Ryan and Ashleigh.
After Ashleigh's untimely injury and Ryan's romantic plea to vote for her, the tide clearly turned their way.
So Legacy and Mollee are out of crown contention, but as you'll see in their clip, they couldn't be more proud of the Top 6 and seem to be in great spirits regardless.
One thing they may be bummed about, however, is that they're now ineligible for this year's special prize,...

After fielding criticism week after week on what the judges called his “immaturity,” Nathan Trasoras, the 18-year-old contemporary wiz from Downey, Calif., gave it his all right up until the end. An early favorite, who sadly was unable to mend his relationship with America after comments he made on stage, became the first male dancer to be cut from So You Think You Can Dance's illustrious top 10. Trasoras spoke to reporters the day after his elimination and answered questions about all that negative feedback from the judges, what he took away from his Sytycd experience and why he'd love to be Broadway bound.

"I feel that I was portrayed differently than how I really am," Nathan Trasoras told EW shortly after his elimination on last night's So You Think You Can Dance. So who is Trasoras? Find out below in our honest chat, in which the polarizing contestant talks about why he became the judges' punching bag, his struggle partnering with Mollee, and why he's not so sad to leave. (Also see our interview with Noelle Marsh.) EW: So are you bummed out after last night? Nathan Trasoras: No, I’m not. I’m glad I get to be home with my parents.

Though Nathan raised his "So You Think You Can Dance" game this week -- as the judges suspected he might if paired with someone a bit more mature -- and though Noelle killed it in her partnership with Ryan -- really enjoyed the Nappy Tabs hip hop, clearly inspired by Mandy Moore's season 3 boardroom routine as well as Shane Sparks' season 3 Make It Work (did anyone else notice that?!) -- it just wasn't enough to keep them on the show.
But, as you'll see in the clips below, everyone's feeling cool about it. Nigel thinks America ultimately made the right decision. And Nathan and Noelle themselves seem perfectly content with how far they came in the competition.
And why shouldn't they be? Top 10? They're going on tour.
From this point forward, every week we'll be seeing two super talented dancers cut, but once you've made Top 10, you've pretty much won,...

Oh, Noelle Marsh, we hardly knew ye. On last night's So You Think You Can Dance results show, the contemporary dancer -- who suffered from severe lack of screen time at the outset of the season -- was sent packing after hip-hop and smooth waltz routines failed to energize voters. Shortly after her ouster, Marsh called up EW to chat about partner Russell, being under-the-radar, and how she begged to stay on the show. (Also check out EW's interview with this week's other eliminated contestant, Nathan Trasoras.) EW: Did you think you were going home this week? Any suspicions? Noelle Marsh...

Something has changed on So You Think You Can Dance. And I'm not just talking about the sad departure of Mia Michaels, or that strange sulphuric smell ever since an over-hyped Katie Holmes stunk up the place with her pre-taped Judy Garland song and dance "tribute." (Yeah, we're all still scratching our heads over that one.)
No, the change I'm referring to is a good one: The show isn't so darn homophobic these days.
This season's Top 10 dancers: Pictured back row L-r: Russell Ferguson, Mollee Gray, Nathan Trasoras, Ryan Di Lello, Jakob Karr, Ashleigh Di Lello and Legacy Perez. Bottom row L-r: Kathryn McCormick, Noelle Marsh and Ellenore Scott.
In previous seasons, Sytycd had a readily apparent mean streak when it came to the gays. Male dancers who were on the... uh... lesser side of butch were routinely criticized for not having enough "chemistry" with their female partners.

After a strong show of performances Tuesday, it was up to America (with the judges merely assisting now) to determine which of So You Think You Can Dance's talented top 10 would be the first two to go. After the votes were counted, Noelle Marsh, 18, the contemporary darling from Sandford, N.C., and Nathan Trasoras, also 18, of Downey, Calif., received their walking papers. "America got it right this week," a satisfied Nigel Lythgoe told People backstage after the show. "I think they've looked at the whole of the time that these kids have been on the program [and] not just the routines that they did [this week]." Nathan,...

Noelle Marsh and Nathan Trasoras have become the latest two dancers to be eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance. The contemporary dancers, both 18, were sent home from the Fox competition during the first audience-determined elimination of the season last night. Their departure means that this season's top eight finalists have now been revealed. Speaking to E! News following the show, judge Mary Murphy said: "We were kind of shocked that America didn't take to Nathan the first few weeks, because he's an amazing dancer. This morning I had a chance to chat with Nathan Trasoras, the latest contestant to be eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance.
Nathan turned out to be a surprisingly controversial and contentious figure on season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance, something we never saw coming during his universally praised auditions. Nathan talked about the criticism he faced this season, what he learned from So You Think You Can Dance, and what's next for him.

"Sad Wednesday" is still the worst day of the week for us So You Think You Can Dance fans, but this week, we're really only weeping for one of the eliminees. The eliminated dancer we'll miss happens to be a girl, but according to executive producer/judge Nigel Lythgoe, "If America was voting, and we were not doing girl and boy, the girls would be voted off first." Eek! Could that be true? Here's who went home, and here's what we're hearing about that gender divide... Sweet youngster Noelle Marsh and controversial kiddo Nathan Trasoras went home in the first audience-determined elimination of the season. Why those two? Perhaps they...

Noelle Marsh and Nathan Trasoras get eliminated from "So You Think You Can Dance' 6 week 6. The dancers kicked off the show with a performance to the song, "It's Still Rock n Roll To Me," choreographed by Tyce. Then, Cat Deeley came on,and introduced the judges. They talked about this being the first week that they didn't have to cut anybody. It's all up to America now. They showed a brief recap of last night's performances to lead into the first break. After the first break, they showed another special segment with Dominique from the 3rd season, out on the streets to see the dance skills of the viewing audience. Then they revealed that Ellenore,Mollee, and Ashleigh were safe, and Noelle and Kathryn were in the bottom two to lead into the 2nd break.

Recognition, a spot on tour and a paycheck are all a part of what it means to be in the So You Think You Can Dance top 10. Last week, Karen Hauer, an American Rhythm dancer from Fort Lee, N.J., and Victor Smalley, a contemporary wonder from Miami, barely missed the mark as the judges had their final say in who stays and who goes. This week, season 6's top 10 will get new partners, and the fans will handle the cuts from here on out until a new winner is crowned America's Favorite Dancer. --Jed Dreben Here's a rundown the...

Ah, Nigel Lythgoe.
One of the nice things about the "So You Think You Can Dance" judges -- Nigel in particular -- is they say what they think.
And this week, they sent contemporary dancer Victor Smalley home, but there was some debate as to whether Nathan Trasoras should've gone instead?
Why?
Well, Nigel says that while Nathan is a tremendous dancer, the kid simply needs to start engaging his brain.
He feels Victor's growth in the competition should've guaranteed him a spot in the Top 10 over Nathan. But judge Adam Shankman disagreed, saying now that we're in the finals and Nathan will be paired with someone new, he could begin to up his game. Adam said Nathan and Mollee's youth and similar style could've been the thing holding them back. Or not. Next week, we'll find out.

The Top 12 of "So You Think You Can Dance" season 6 have been wilted down to mere 10. Married ballroom dancer couple Ashleigh Di Lello and Ryan Di Lello are through to the next round but Karen Hauer and Victor Smalley have to stop their journey on the show.
During the deliberation, Karen and Victor were joined in the bottom three by Mollee and Nathan; and Ellenore and Ryan. All six of them had to dance for their lives if they wanted to stay in the competition. Karen was criticized for looking like she has surrendered and thus was the first to be eliminated. On the other hand, Victor delivered an energetic piece but it was not enough to convince the judges to keep him.
The Top 10 apart from the Di Lellos are thus Russell Ferguson, Mollee Gray, Jakob Karr, Noelle Marsh, Kathryn McCormick, Jonathan "Legacy" Perez, Ellenore Scott and Nathan Trasoras.

"So You Think You Can Dance" cut two more last night, dwindling the Top 20 to 12.
Certainly, it wasn't all that surprising to see Kevin/Karen and Channing/Victor in the bottom three, but the presence of Mollee and Nathan -- who fully redeemed themselves this Tuesday with a solid performance -- proves that the voting audience really does listen to what the judges say, as Nigel Lythgoe was quite critical of the two of them last week.
But, in the end, Mollee and Nathan had nothing to worry about, because the judges sent hip hop dancer Kevin Hunte and contemporary dancer Channing Cooke home. So why were they cut?
Nigel -- who hasn't been shy with his criticism of the "dance for your life" solos performed thus far -- ponders fan backlash as far as Nathan is concerned in his clip below, but he also shares his thoughts on the...

So You Think You Can Dance is no stranger to controversy. This season alone has featured a flasher, the loss of Billy Bell, Noelle's free pass, two weeks of eliminations left solely up to the judges, and that gigantic disaster of a new stage. But none of those events have inflamed the passions of So You Think You Can Dance fans as much as last week's controversy: Nigel's two minute diatribe against Nathan Trasoras and every fan who dialed in for his dimples.
Clearly angry that the decision on who stays and who goes is no longer solely up to him, Nigel gave Nathan the most thorough tongue lashing in the history of So You Think You Can Dance. During last week's So You Think You Can Dance results show, head judge Nigel Lythgoe lost all of his British reserve and fastidious manners when the audience booed his harsh critique of tween sweethearts Nathan Trasoras and Mollee Gray. In a moment that reminded us why British TV audiences used to refer to Nigel as "Nasty Nigel," he spun in his judges chair and hissed at the audience to "shut up." Certainly it was not gentlemanly or really, head judge behavior.
Well, Nigel realizes the error of his ways, though even in his twitter apology, he's not fully ready to play nice. Here's what Nigel had to say about his little outburst:...

Mollee Gray and Nathan Trasoras' devoted fan base made all the difference this week on So You Think You Can Dance. Had Mollee and Nathan's fans not voted their couple safe during last night's competition show, the bottom six would have had a different composition, and it's possible that another couple might have gone home. So who did go home tonight, how did Mollee and Nathan change the game, and which dancer might be too sexy for her own good? Here's what we learned from chatting with the judges after the top 16 results show... Tiny little Pauline Mata and tapper Peter Sabasino were sent home tonight, due to a combination of the quickstep curse, lackluster solos and what all three...
