Comedian Dan St. Germain is headed to the small screen. The creator-star of web series Kicking Dan Out is teaming with New Girl's Jake Johnson and Max Winkler for a comedy at Fox, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. St. Germain will pen the script and star in the untitled comedy as Dustin, a guy who is a complete emotional wreck after he gets dumped, so he decides to move back in with his ex and her current boyfriend to figure out what went wrong and learn how to stop being a man baby when it comes to love. Twitter has spoken. Give us Dennis Farina back, please.
How awesome is it that Dennis Farina will be reincarnated as the royal baby.
— olivia wilde (@oliviawilde) July 22, 2013
Did Dennis Farina reincarnate as the Royal Baby? No?? Then get outta my face, chump.
— Payman Benz (@PaymanBenz) July 22, 2013
Dennis Farina died so the Royal Baby could live.
— Dan St. Germain (@DSGermain) July 22, 2013
Hoping Dennis Farina transferred his soul into the Royal Baby at the last minute.
— Abraham Riesman (@abrahamjoseph) July 22, 2013
If what I know about Buddhism is correct, the Royal baby will have Dennis Farina's soul. I think we'd all be ok with that.
— Alex Mizrahi (@alexmiz) July 22, 2013
I'll just pretend that Dennis Farina was reincarnated as the #RoyalBaby and that will ease the pain.
— Jacob King (@cptblicero) July 22, 2013
The only thing we can hope is that Dennis Farina's soul has been reincarnated in the new royal baby.

Comedian Dan St. Germain often brings the laughs (and occasionally plays God) on Best Week Ever, but at midnight tonight his Comedy Central special, The Half Hour: Dan St. Germain, will air. I got the chance to catch up with Dan St. Germain at Best Week Ever HQ and talk to him about the special tonight, as well as what’s coming up on the horizon for him.
VH1: So, your first Comedy Central half hour special is airing tonight at midnight. Could you take us through how that comes about?
Dan St. Germain: I just bribed them.
No, no, you just submit a tape and hopefully they think it’s funny.
I’ve seen you recently at open mics and shows all over New York and I know you’re working all the time on amazing new material. How did you decide what material would go into the half hour?...

Pete Lee has been glued to MTV’s Retro Real World Marathon. (Eric Nies 4-eva!)
Emily Tarver still thinks Amanda Bynes is all that.
Nick Turner makes a convincing argument that “This Cabinet” is the frontrunner; who could possibly argue with that?
Dan St. Germain is making the case for the “boring red square” that’s taken over your Facebook wall.
Okay, now that you’ve heard what the experts have to say, it’s time for You to weigh in:
