Mister Shaw may have been a great clarinet player, but his acting is almost as lousy as Brad Pitt's. Here is a cool little production with lots of big band numbers and some spiffy hoofing by Fred. A bonus to seeing this film, at least for me, was getting to see The Penguin again. Loved watching him and Fred go at one another for the hand of the fair lady. Good show, but no great shakes.
