Split Decision
2 January 1999
The Family (two teens, 16 and 19, along with Mom and Dad) split on Clint Eastwood's White Hunter, Black Heart. Erroneously believing it to be an adventure film it was deemed all but unwatchable by both kids who gave what they saw of it a 2.

Mom and Dad liked the movie, but felt it could have been much better. Basically its a series of conversations, but without a great deal of plot to move along, opportunities for interesting repartee are lost. There also is a great deal of lame barroom, bravado talk and we often found ourselves thinking "why the Hell'd he say that?".

We awarded it a 6 because we like Clint in just about anything, but could not recommend it. There is much better out there.
