TV Hell (1992– )

'TV Hell' was the first in a long . . . long . . . long . . . line of theme nights which will doubtless lead to a Theme Night Night. It was a celebration of some of the worst television in living memory, featuring the first episode of triangle and at the centre an A-Z of TV Hell. This still classic documentary featured such gems as: the slightly suspect in retrospect 'Minipops'; the Open Door featuring the 'Albion Free State' (ten minutes of a man in a monkey outfit and a tree'; Albion Market; Churchill's People (a 26 part studio bound history of Britain which went out in prime-time in the innocent times of the late seventies); David Dimbleby sitting around when both VT's failed on Panarama when it was live; and a man jumping on an egg on Nationwide . . .
