That was the worst movie I've seen since The Postman. The ape looked nice and the actors weren't bad (Charlize Theron was actually quite good) but the screenplay was just garbage. There were some really awkward lines and a terribly predictable story. My 13-year-old brother thought it stunk, too... kids under 10 might enjoy this one, but The Prince of Egypt and A Bug's Life are far better movies. Why suffer through Mighty Joe Young when there are so many good alternatives?
