Varsity Blues has to be one of the truest films about high school football ever made. Director Brain Robbins paints the portrait of the town very well and you really get a feel for the characters. James Van Der Beek is great in the lead role as Mox, although I would have gotten with Jules if I were him. Check this one out with friends.
