I am a John Cusack fan. I watch all of his movies because he is a wonderful actor. "The Jack Bull" is no exception. John Cusack shines as a hard working horse trader who is tired of being pushed around by Ballard, the local boss. His legal recourse is disregarded by the local crooked judge and he mortgages his land to raise an army against Ballard.
John Goodman redeems the law as the totally fair judge who carries out justice to all. HBO pictures has done well with this story. Don't be shocked if it gets some Emmys.
