A decent performance from Wood Harris as Jimi Hendrix can't overcome the limitations of this very low budget, shot in Canada take on the life and times of the rock god. Black and white video footage of Hendrix performing is interspersed with poorly filmed expositionary passages. All in all, rather pointless as it simply retells the story we all know with no new insights at all.
